Re: What made you Lol Today?

Oh, don't get me wrong, I agree that renationalising isn't necessarily the solution. My point was really just about the current inadequacy of the system to meet commuters' needs. Corbyn's photos were obviously a publicity stunt from the start, that was never in doubt, and I say that as someone who a...

To be fair, our trains are appallingly overcrowded. As a daily rail commuter into London, I have to deal with sardine can style carriages every day. It's vile.

Re: What pissed you off today

Instagram. What a load of shit. I generally despise social media and all the passive aggression, narcissism, sychophancy and tacit bragging that goes with it, but as a professional photographer I kinda felt I had to use at least one platform to keep my work in the public eye, so I stuck with Instagr...

That's horrendous, but sadly not really surprising to read about, as awful as that is. Hope they catch the pathetic cunt.

Re: Wristband Removal

Of course, the easiest method of all is simply to ask the person who puts the band on you to put it on loosely; I always ask them to not tighten it, as I like to remove it at the end of the day when I have a shower. Like most people, wristbands annoy the living shit out of me, so I can't wait to get...

Re: Wristband Removal

Take the two ends that are sticking out, and twist them as tightly as you can. And I do mean really, really tight. You can then usually slip the plastic lock down quite a lot along the twisted length of fabric; just keep doing that until it's loose enough to slip off your wrist.

Re: Security in VIP

Oh, I saw them checking other people, so it's not like they weren't checking anyone at all, but I found it odd that I wasn't stopped and checked at any point myself, despite going in and out every single day. And I'm sure that I wasn't the only one who wasn't checked.

Security in VIP

In light of recent security concerns and whatnot, I thought it worth mentioning that not once in the entire weekend was my wristband checked when going into the VIP area from the entrance (not the entrance from the arena, but the entrance leading from the car park/campsites). I wear long sleeves too...

Re: Awesome! Just one niggle...

Since I can't get this out of my head I get the impression that after we've paid our hard earned cash you want us all to fuck off as soon as possible. To be fair though, what's wrong with that? I mean, they need to bring in crews to break down the site and clean up, and the sooner they get started ...

I've been posting some photos on my Instagram, and will post more this week, as I'm slowly going through my pics and sorting them to send to the magazine I was shooting for.

Re: Bloodstock 2016 - The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

The good I had a mostly good weekend. The weather was great, and I ended up having a fairly easy schedule to work to, so had a lot more time for hanging out in between working than I usually do, which was nice. Can't say I especially loved any of the bands (I listen to very little metal these days, ...

Re: The Official "Okay, Now I'm getting excited!" Thread

Finished work for the week today. Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning, before picking up my rental car at noon, picking up a few bags of nuts and fruit at Sainsbury's, and then coming back home to charge camera batteries, pack my photography and computer gear, and pack a weekend bag in p...
