Re: movies

My friend says its (Scott Pilgrim) is shit. But he also said Kick-Ass was so he's clearly a fucking moron. I do really need to get around to watching it. I'm pretty sure I'll like it though and I'm going in with great expectation. Edgar Wright and Michael Cera (even despite his nearly developed wank...

Re: movies

Saw The Inbetweeners last night and it was a lot funnier than I expected*. Incredibly funny in fact, and not at all boring or overlong. It could have gone on for a lot longer in my opinion and off the back of it it's a shame that this'll be the last thing Inbetweeners. *I say expected because TV sho...

Re: Hot or not?

Kate Winslet will always be Rose from Titanic and thus will always be hot.

But those pictures are weirding me out. Look more like some robot built in Japan than a real human.

Re: Computer Games Thread

its really not "dogshit" its easily as good as the first one, the only problem and yes i do mean the ONLY one is that its far too short. still worth a couple of playthroughs though It's soooooooooo slow though. If I'm meant to be a hardcore Sith/crybaby Jedi/whatever then I want to move a...

Re: Computer Games Thread

I always get the feeling like I should watch his videos but they're fucking 30 minutes long. Such a fucking ballache. If the game is boring then it can be, aye. But I discovered the guy by watching a 30 minute video of him playing Frozen Synapse and I was captivated and had to get the game as soon ...

I assume not.

He's like quite good at League of Legends.

No (unless he is), but he didn't shut up about 'OMG I'M GOING TO BLOODSTOCK METULZ FESTIVAL!!!' for a while before the fest.

Re: Computer Games Thread

I was watching Total Biscuits 'WTF is' of it before and despite having no interest in it or 40k in general prior I have to say the combat looks really nice.

Linky link linkersons.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Do Aldi and Lidl even sell PCs over in the UK? I just know them for cheap, dodgy looking chicken and amazing(ly bad for you) chocolate cereals.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Be careful about building your own PC. While it was true that building your own was cheaper many years ago, this is no longer the case unless you're building a high spec machine. Shop around if you're only building an average setup as you'll probably get it cheaper pre-built. Or just give the parts...

Re: Computer Games Thread

I figured you'd say exactly that Mike...in fact I was counting on it. This is the thing I don't get about console gamers who think its a better way to go over PC because of the price, especially those who post on internet forums about it...because what are the majority of them posting on? PCs. I'd ...

Re: Computer Games Thread

I never get this whole 'Boo hoo the Playstation pad is so uncomfortable'. Didn't you people grow up with a PS1 and PS2. Why aren't your hands already disfigured to the point where it fits beautifully in your palms! WHY! I've never used a 360 pad so I don't know how comfortable it is, but even if it...

Re: Computer Games Thread

The reason I dont like the pad is because I saw it was the same on the PS3 as it had been on previous Playstations. I never connected with it. Oh, and when you get fucking mad when the game doesnt go according to plan, i.e. winning (lol my avatar) and you throw it at the wall, it either breaks, or ...
