Re: ArcTanGent 2020

Re: Brutal Assault 2020

I really want to go one year, but so far it's an even worse lineup than Bloodstock.

Re: Turisas

They were great fun at Wacken Winter Nights earlier this year, they'd make an excellent Sophie headliner for sure.

Good opportunity for me to go visit the parents, they had to travel to Bristol last time so they'll be very pleased with this.

Re: Metal 2 The Masses 2020

For Manchester this year we have a new venue (The Bread Shed), and the event being taken over by a new promoting team in Stonebaked Promotions and APF Records. Due to the event being run by 3rd party promoters rather than a venue itself, we're also going to have an entry fee for the first time. It's...

Metal 2 The Masses 2020

Manchester's heat drawing happened last night which reminded me that this was a thing, and as there wasn't already a thread... UK Events: Birmingham - The Asylum - Finals July 12th Brighton - The Green Door Store - Finals June 28th Bristol - The Exchange - Finals July 4th Cheltenham - Frog and Fiddl...

Re: Next Announcement

Meh. Far too soon to have Priest again and they're really not for me, and while I'd certainly watch Behemoth I'm not that arsed about them. I've still only really got 3 bands I particularly care about.

Re: Next Announcement

Love Paradise Lost on record, but I've been disappointed every time I've seen them live. Apart from that, nothing in the announcement for me.

I guess that means headliners will both be next week.

Re: 2019 Albums

He's right about one thing.... "P.S. Who the fuck listens to DOPE!!??" If it wasn't for Kerrang, Metal Hammer and MTV hyping them up as fashionable in the 1990s, him and his band wouldn't even be a footnote in music history. A band that jumped on every bandwagon going. Hardly origin...

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last: Scumface reunion show in Manchester on Saturday night. Brilliantly stupid fun from all 3 bands, The Paul Taylor Experience in particular should be ashamed of themselves. Never been to The Whiskey Jar before, it's a nice little event space. Shame about the beer prices, but that's the Northern Q...
