Re: Computer Games Thread

Fable 2, Fallout 3, GoW2, WOTLK and Left4Dead.

Need I say more. And I still need to steal Dead Space of a Friend and Farcry2 taunts me with its loveliness. Stupid videogames XD

Re: The Book thread

I'm very wary of King's newer works, I picked up Lisey's story a while back which was astounding. But indeed, not sure about buying his newer stuff.

Currently I'm considering rereading House of Leaves. As it is one of the most fantasmagorical books ever.

Re: The Relationships Thread

Of course, Rohypcake never fails.

The other way of doing it is baking a cake and taking rohypnol. Then when you get up SUPRISE CAKE!!!

Like suprise sex, but probably less painful.

Re: The Relationships Thread

Met someone who I'm really interested in. But I hardly know them.

What do you guys think is the better course of action, get to know her better first, or just invite her out to get a cup of coffee or something and chat.

Re: The Relationships Thread

I'm out with the Metal Society tommorow night, and out with some of them tonight. We shall see if there are any prospective girlfriends over time I suppose.

Failing that there's always some girls on my course.

Re: The Relationships Thread

Shall be moving to birmingham in about a weeks time. Hopefully there will be more dating prospects there than down here. Just need to get out meeting people.

Re: The Relationships Thread

I'm beginning to notice that all my ex girlfriends seem to have had really bad self confidence. I mean, not just by normal women standards, but almost crippling self confidence. Am I just attracted to women with worse self-confidence than my own or something? It's just weird. Yeah, my dating record ...

Re: The Book thread

I'm reading Charlie Brooker's Dawn of the Dead, on loan from Jono. What a glorious tome of pure venom! Love it. The man is a genius. Currently reading 'This is your brain on music - Daniel Levitin'. Very interesting. Then moving on to the 'Nightwatch' trilogy hopefully. I can recommend the fi...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Civ Rev is good, but I just don't play it anymore. And as cool as Ninja Gaiden 2 is, it just pisses me off. It's a chore more than a bit of fun. I'm not enjoying it anywhere near as much as I did the first one, which I actually found fun. I'll probs just trade them in for Too Human sometime soon. I ...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Castle Crashers just came out today so I'm seriously tempted to grab some MS points and pick that one up.

Also gonna be getting Too Human, since my Clan is playing it. It isn't a great game, but it ain't bad either.

Re: movies

I hate the Hostel movies with a passion, they just irritate me. Saw is better, but I think I prefered the Cube movies. If anyone has seen them, or hasn't as a matter of fact, go look them up. They're a sci-fi version of Saw, and one of the movies has some rather cool Orwellian philosophy in it. Do b...

Re: Computer Games Thread

My WoW time just ran out, think I shall be leaving it be for a while, dunno if I'll come back for Lich king. Might do after a while.

Atm everything just feels like I'm buying time until Fable 2. Yes Fallout 3 will be awesome, but I want Fable 2 so bad.

Re: The Relationships Thread

I once went out with someone and only saw them once within six months, before the relationship collapsed. Saw them before that, but distance fucks things up.

I think I'm finally getting to grips with being single, since it allows me to look like how I want to look.
