Having heard two tracks from the forthcoming Alestorm album I'm in two minds. The first "Treasure chest.." is good fun and I really enjoyed it, however the new one "Tortuga" may be the biggest pile of shite I've heard for many a year.

If that was only the and of it :( Got to the gig easily enough but was stranded in London yesterday, no trains going North at all. Luckily I had enough money to get another hotel, managed to get an early train this morning that thankfully wasn't as crowded as expected. Still a bloody expensive week...

Last gig was Wolf back in March I think! I've been on a huge Fields of the Nephilim binge lately so booked my ticket, train, and hotel to see them in Nottingham at the end of the month yesterday. ) Good man! I'm doing Leeds and Nottingham, hotel for Leeds and thankfully a bus home after Rock City. ...

Last - Avantasia last night in London, flashy, professional, well drilled hard rock/metal excellence.
Next Womenowar/Hanowar in Birmingham tomorrow. Possibly not as professional, flashy and certainly not well drilled. But it will be ace.
