Volbeat it is then. Their last UK show is in Manchester on Tuesday October 1st, but a day or two shouldn't matter.

The Sisters of Mercy's two London shows are this weekend..

Re: 2019 Albums

Continuing the plethora of Cheese Metal this year, August upped the ante with five big (ish) name releases. Hammerfall's effort sounded exactly as you would expect with a couple of really good tracks. Twilight Force's third effort was much better than the last one but sounded a bit too "Rhapsod...

Re: 2019 Albums

It's been a great year for Cheese so far Try 'Patron Saint', the new album by a band called Cwn Annwn. American power metal with female vocals. They're only a little band and it's a self released album but it's well produced and it has a few top songs on there. https://youtu.be/d_ACPNi_YmA I gave t...

Re: 2019 Albums

It's been a great year for Cheese so far and now we have the new Majesty album. Oh dear. Some of the mid paced fist in the air numbers are good fun, but some of it is pretty poor. I'm not sure what direction they are trying to take but I preferred them when they wanted to be Manowar and not Beast in...

To be fair when I went down to the Underworld for the Serenity/Visions of Atlantis gig last February it wasn't that full then either.

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last gig was Wolf back in March I think! I've been on a huge Fields of the Nephilim binge lately so booked my ticket, train, and hotel to see them in Nottingham at the end of the month yesterday. ) Good man! I'm doing Leeds and Nottingham, hotel for Leeds and thankfully a bus home after Rock City. ...

Re: 2019 Albums

The new Gloryhammer is the usual angst ridden emo anthems for lovesick teenagers.
And Unicorns.
Lots of Unicorns.
It's fucking fantastic.

Re: 2019 Albums

There have already been a few good cheese metal albums this year (sadly Battle Beast wasn't one of them, I found it rather bland) and it promises to continue. The new GloryHammer singer is fantastic and the new Majesty single isn't nearly as bad as I was expecting.

Re: Eden's Curse/ Mob Rules UK Tour Apr '19

Not expecting much of a turn out though, especially after seeing Ross The Boss play to less than fifty people in Sheffield. God, you weren't wrong were you? Embarrassingly poor turn out... 50 paying punters at the Robin? Can't imagine how many will be in Pontypridd or went to Grimsby. Mob Rules nai...
