Re: Guess what date gigs will be back to normal (no social distancing)
My sister pointed something out to me the other day that I hadn't realised. Not only do we need to vaccinate the whole country, we have to keep doing it. I have to have a new flu jab every year so this will be the same. Hopefully as the infrastructure gets better this will become easier to do.

Re: Guess what date gigs will be back to normal (no social distancing)
Well, over here we're onto the "second wave". I'm thinking that surely the human race can't be that stupid that we can't learn from this one and eventually get this thing under control so that we can have shows again. Is it really a "second wave" ? It just looks like full lockdo...

Re: Guess what date gigs will be back to normal (no social distancing)
I reckon we'll have a phased return of gigs without social distancing. Perhaps tiny venues like the Camden Underworld will be allowed to host events in March if winter goes well, with larger venues opening again in May then June for arenas and festivals. The Arena one is interesting, if you assume ...

Wind Rose have confirmed that they are playing so we'll be popping down to this. All things considered, obviously.

I've never understood why promoters think having a tour the week before fucking Christmas is a good idea.

Re: 2020 Albums
Having heard two tracks from the forthcoming Alestorm album I'm in two minds. The first "Treasure chest.." is good fun and I really enjoyed it, however the new one "Tortuga" may be the biggest pile of shite I've heard for many a year.

Or that most of the extra deaths were not caused by CoviD19. Yeah I'd say it's more likely that the covid 19 deaths just weren't included in the second graph. Are you suggesting 6000 people suddenly just died in a week of something else when there's hardly any road traffic accidents and A &am...

Volbeat it is then. Their last UK show is in Manchester on Tuesday October 1st, but a day or two shouldn't matter.
The Sisters of Mercy's two London shows are this weekend..
