Re: Geoff Tate... shit live?

He was fine when he was playing with Avantasia a couple of years ago, both vocally and his interaction with the rest of the band and the crowd.

Re: Bands you saw before they made it big

Do Lamb of God count as big? I saw them support Slayer (obviously) at the Astoria in 2003 around the time of "As the Palaces Burn"

I did. For me it fell just the wrong side of cheesy power metal but perhaps I'll go back for another try.

Gave this a blast yesterday, not cheesey enough for me I'm afraid. Reminded me very much of Sanctuary/Nevermore.

Nottingham Rock City was 2007. I also saw Amon Amarth at the Indoor in 2005.

Re: Guess what date gigs will be back to normal (no social distancing)

10% of the population have had the vaccine today. Summer is looking good for the 80% needed. But will it be enough? Only the first dose though so I assume they'll have to stop giving it to new people in March to start administering the second doses. Hopefully the Goverment will increase the capacit...

Re: Orden Ogan London Show

Postponed to 2022 I've seen that the tour is postponed, but the London date is not on the list at all now. It is on the poster I saw on Orden Ogan's facebook page - 5th March 2022 Interesting. I saw it on the Wind Rose facebook and they specifically said a couple of times that they know nothing abo...

Re: Guess what date gigs will be back to normal (no social distancing)

My sister pointed something out to me the other day that I hadn't realised. Not only do we need to vaccinate the whole country, we have to keep doing it. I have to have a new flu jab every year so this will be the same. Hopefully as the infrastructure gets better this will become easier to do.

Re: Guess what date gigs will be back to normal (no social distancing)

Well, over here we're onto the "second wave". I'm thinking that surely the human race can't be that stupid that we can't learn from this one and eventually get this thing under control so that we can have shows again. Is it really a "second wave" ? It just looks like full lockdo...
