Wouldn’t be surprised to see Amon Amarth and Gojira on the bill

Re: Next Announcement

Another set of bands that does nothing for me. Appreciate others Will feel differently but for me personally, this is literally the worst line up in the history of the festival. Glad I’d decided a few weeks back not to.go this year.

Re: 2020 Albums

Orden Ogan just announced a new album for 2020 but I’m sure it said August which seems an age away.
With a mainland Europe tour with a Grave Digger in support

Re: Flying Abroad for Concerts

I often go abroad for gigs to see bands that never come to the U.K. and always go abroad for summer festivals (since 2003). I always stick to booking.com and generally go for hotels with free cancellation just in case any last minute change of plan. Generally stick to Western Europe, only coz I like...

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last couple: Sacred Reich at the Underworld. Great show, superb. Great setlist. Night Demon were decent enough too. Amon Amarth at Birmingham. From the underworld one night to an over full academy the next. Forgot how much im getting less of a fan of the bigger shows. Couldn’t move around the venue ...

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last - Lacuna Coil and Eluveitie on Saturday night. Packed out forum, nice to see Eluveitie get pretty much an hour despite having to step into the support role to U.K. shows. Thought lacuna coil were great too, been a while since saw them last, loved Delirium and new album is decent too. Hopefully ...

Re: Last gig ticket you bought?

Baden in Blut Festival on the German/Swiss border. Not been before but looks nice little festival, few thousand I think, one stage. One evening and one full day end of July. Return flights to Basel for 50 quid, festival ticket 57 quid. Finally seeing Bodyfarm and Sulphur Aeon. Then throw in Destruc...

Re: Testament / Exodus / Death Angel - March 2020

Really keen to go to Nottingham date without Testament as my brother lives 5 minutes from the venue. Main band for me is death angel and they are likely to get an hour at the one off show compared to 30/40 minute opening slot for the main dates. Would happily watch a headline set from exodus too as ...

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last - Moonspell and Rotting Christ on Tuesday. Crowd went nuts for Rotting Christ. 3rd time seeing them this year, nice to see them indoors. Crowd were a bit stand off ish for Moonspell but a few Portuguese next to me were having the time of their lives. Liked hearing the 1755 stuff live and then e...

Re: Next Announcement

Awful announcement for me. Still only Dark Tranquillity, Sacred reich and gloryhammer that I care for. And seeing them get 40 minutes doesn’t cut it for getting a ticket.
Hoping Alcatraz, Brutal Assault or Into the Grave is better line up for me on the same weekend

Re: Last gig ticket you bought?

Just booked the Thrash Alliance tour in February with Destruction, Legion of the Damned, Suicidal Angels and Final Breath. Going to the Tilburg date, 013 is one of my favourite venues and it’s a great city. The tour is only mainland Europe so far but Destruction have hinted that their will be a UK p...

Re: Next Announcement

I still think Amon Amarth will be in there somewhere.
Obviously their dates are late November but I guess they could be announced a few weeks before
