Re: So much for Iced Earth...
Hi all, regarding my rather inflammatory comments about one particular member the other day I would like to clarify that I was not being serious and it was an attempt at satire (although a rather poor one I suppose) based on a few rather unpleasant posts I can recall over the last couple of years fr...

Re: So much for Iced Earth...
May be all a moot point anyway as I don't know if the other members of Iced Earth and Demons & Wizards will want anything to do with him after this Stu Block seems to be ambivalent at best but I saw a screenshot of some comments from him on Facebook which were more supportive of Jon. Century Me...

Re: So much for Iced Earth...
Iced Earth are one of my favourite bands. I've been fan since I was 15 and I remember when I first bought one of their albums - 'Something Wicked This Way Comes'. I've generally always been aware of Jon's weird political views but I haven't been too bothered by them as I tend not to pay much attenti...

Re: 2021 albums
The albums that have confirmed release dates I am most looking forward to are Epica, Evergrey and Anneke van Giersbergen all on 26th February. I will also be checking out the upcoming albums by Orden Ogan, Blaze Bayley and Thunder plus whatever else I see that takes my interest. Other bands who shou...

Steelhouse Festival (Anthrax/Europe)
Just found out that Anthrax are headlining the Saturday of Steelhouse Festival which is on top of a hill in South Wales. It would be nice if they did a couple of their own shows around then as the rest of the line-up isn't really for me. This probably won't go ahead though. https://cdn2.gigantic.com...

Re: Evergrey 2021
I came here to post this. Delighted to see a proper run of shows! The London show is on a Saturday so it's definitely a possibility wherever I'm living, and the venue is not in some annoying location like Brixton or Tufnell Park. I'm thinking about getting tickets for the London and Birmingham shows...

Re: Powerwolf - London
What is the roundhouse like as a venue , apart from been round , any seating areas ? As standing for 3 or 4 hours is a no no . Yes, there is a balcony seating area around the back of the venue. It's a decent venue for medium-sized gigs. The queue at the door is painfully slow though, as are the que...

Re: 2020 Albums
Heathen's new album 'Empire of the Blind' is cracking. Some good old school Thrash with bits of very cool lead guitar.
