Re: Next Announcement

Fuck sake, I really want to do the who weekend this time, but they keep announcing stuff I don't like.

And the fan chosen Devin setlist worries me, as usually fan voted setlists are awful

Re: Next Announcement

If they're on before Devin then I can see why they've slipped it in on the quiet, that's bloody awful :( Aye, if there's nothing decent in the tent for the rest of the evening then I can see us heading back pretty early that night, especially if Phil the goose-stepper ends up being 3rd from top. Al...

Re: Helloween 2020

Yeah got tickets for Manchester too. Only ever seen them at Bloodstock years ago and the sound was awful, and now they have Kiske and Hansen back, I can’t wait

Re: Next Announcement

Very underwhelming. Now Bloodywood might be good (I havent listened to them, so this is nothing against them), but looking at their tour dates they are tiny and it smacks of a gimmick booking because they are from India

Re: Iron Maiden 2020

Remember seeing Maiden supported by My Dying Bride by in 1995. I loved it as I'm a big MDB fan, but fair to say they weren't a great fit with most of the crowd!

Re: Next Announcement

[quote="jwh20"]Unless I've missed something, Skindred, PL and Gloryhammer aren't special guests right? So we still have them to go. Who are people thinking based on tours and such? I know people want Saxon but with their tour rescheduled I don't know if they are likely to be announced any ...

Re: Machine Head - Burn My Eyes 25th Anniversary Shows

Was at Manchester tonight, enjoyed hearing almost all of Burn My Eyes with almost all the original line up. Did Flynn really think people wouldn't notice if they skipped a track on what was supposed to be a full album set and play a slayer/Metallica medley instead? Knobhead. They didn’t miss a song...

Re: Next Announcement

Middling announcement. Haven't seen Behemoth on the I Loved You At Your Darkest tour yet so will be good to see them. Judas Priest? Obviously a big booking for the festival, especially seeing they haven't played the UK much recently. But personally I don't like them and it does seem very soon to hav...

Re: Next Announcement

Clutch just been announced for Into The Grave along with Devin, Paradise Lost and Gloryhammer. Could they be a headliner? Certainly big enough, but not sure quite the right genre

Personally I’d love it, but understand it wouldn’t suit everyone

Re: Next Announcement

Sadly I knew it wouldn't take long for the derogatory remarks to start rolling in regarding Life of Agony. Big up to SlayerSlays for calling out the bullshit. I really don't think the "PC snowflake" argument even comes into play when it comes to showing basic respect for ...
