Re: Computer Games Thread

So Fallout 4 has been out for what, 10 days, and already the settlements people are making are getting pretty elaborate.

Watch the video with sound, it's really the icing on the cake :D

Re: What pissed you off today

Some complete tool decided that punching random people in the crowd was totally a awesome idea at Skindred last Saturday. He punched me really bloody hard in the chest, I reckon he had a knuckle stuck out or something. Still hurts now, plus I've gone and caught a cold, so every time I cough, sneeze,...

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Goodness me, let's hope not, else they might actually manage to top Trivium as the worst possible choice of headliner.

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Listened to the new Amorphis album today, it'd be great if they get announced for next year. They haven't played since 2013 and have a new album to support. It'd be very nice for those of us who didn't realise they were playing Wembley with Nightwish and Arch Enemy until it had already sold out :ugh:

That's an awful choice.

Re: So Venom.....

To be fair, you are listing the more 'traditional' or 'serious' headliners, if you instead compare them to Europe, Twisted Sister, Within Temptation and Rob Zombie they don't seem as out of place... They have already been playing bigger and more prestigious for quite some time over in Japan though, ...

Re: So Venom.....

Babymetal would make a decent Sunday headliner I reckon. Pretty sure playing Wembley puts them at least level with most of the past headliners in terms of selling potential, and they do a really fun show. Can always put some really grim kvlt band headlining the Sophie stage at the same time to appea...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Ended up getting MGS3: Snake Eater for 3DS in the end, saves fiddling with an emulator, and apparently the 3rd one is one of the more important ones for catching up with the story for MGSV. In other news, Rocket League is a whopping 10% off on Steam at the moment (or free if you preorder a Steam Con...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Rocket League is totally worth your time and money. But I'd definitely say it's a better experience when played with friends. Which I have not done yet ;-; I saw it at E3 and the coverage was just a massive circlejerk. It looks like a slightly better version of a fuck about football game I made on ...

Re: What has made you happy today

Danger can is the most intellectual of sports, a game of wit and cunning. The rules are as follows: -Take a can of beer/cider. -Shake it (at least) 3 times. -Smash it against your forehead (once, more than once is cheating). -Pass it to the next brave player. -Continue until the can bursts, and spra...

Re: 2015 - The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

IMO the 'ugly' part is just for stuff that's a bit 'ewww', but is all just part of being at a festival. If people were genuinely offended by topless men and wanted them gone, they'd be in 'bad' surely? I don't think anyone's saying they should cover up or bugger off, just acknowledging that let's fa...
