Re: What has made you happy today

I brought home a kitten for the gardener who lives here (it's staff accomodation). He's been struggling with alcoholism for years but is finally pulling himself together. He's got no friends or family and is cat mad so it's amazing to see how over the moon he is with this kitten. He's transformed th...

Re: What pissed you off today

Holy shit, I hope you're ok. :( WPMOT: Looks like my wisdom tooth is coming through on the side where the tooth with the deepest filling is, I feel like it's going to fall out. The pain is horrendous. Mine is coming through too D: It half came through about 6 months ago, I dunno why it didn't just ...

Re: Stuff that makes you go "Awwwww" mk 2.0

Picking up the little tabby in this picture for the lonely gardener that lives in our staff house either tonight or tomorrow :D I went to visit all 4 kittens and they are adoooooooorable. I'm mainly happy because he's given me permission to play with said kitten as much as I like. [url] https://fbcd...

Re: What's freaking you out?

I do really feel for you to be fair, especially after your break up. I feel homesick here due to having no friends/family aside from Chris. I know if we broke up I'd just move home again, but I can't imagine how shitty it is when you have responsibilities keeping you there for the next couple of mon...

Re: What pissed you off today

 I don't know if it's his personality or something (he's incredibly extroverted - unlike me), but he seems to get a lot of attention from wimminz. I don't have any worries of him cheating or anything, if there's one person I know who doesn't think he's out of my league, it's him. It's just kind...

Re: What pissed you off today

Worked with Chris for the past 3 days which is good, but I heard someone say " that's Chris' girlfiend?" when he saw me, implying I'm way less attractive than everyone would have expected. It seems to be a pretty standard reaction too :( It's nice that I'm with someone who most people find...

Re: What pissed you off today

Watching one of those cheesy animal rescue shows. This one is showing a 2 week old kitten that they're struggling to save - it was dumped in a binbag in a dustbin and left there with crushed/broken back legs and a shattered pelvis. Honestly got no idea how people can do that kind of thing to animals...

Re: What has made you happy today

"Usually." ...but I didn't ask for mayo on my chips. BANG. ewww. Last night went well, going in again tonight to help out with another wedding. They agreed in return for me helping to be a reference on my CV over the time I'm out of work. Doesn't resolve money issues but at least I ...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Glad I agreed to work in the kitchen tonight...but WHY does it have to be on the hottest day of the year? All I've done is put my whites on and I'm sweating stupid amounts.

Re: What has made you happy today

Chris called me from work today saying they're really understaffed and would I go help in the kitchen during evening service. It's gonna be menial work but I'm rather excited - it's still a 2 rosette restaurant. Working below Chris again will be strange though, to say the least...

Guuuys where is the best place to look for flats/houses? Rightmove is vaguely useful and I've been into an estate agents. Shall I go into more estate agents? Or what are other good sites?

Re: What's freaking you out?

letter from the NHS asking me to go in for cervical screening. :( I'm not 25 yet! I've been getting them for about a year now and I turn 25 next Sunday. I think it's just something to put the idea in your mind. The sooner the better surely! I've got to book one soon as breast cancer runs in my fami...

Re: The Relationships Thread

Music in my current relationship has been extremely bizarre. Chris is hugely into music, but he loves house & techno - something I've literally had no experience of up until recently, however I find I like a lot of it. In the past I did have a tendency to go for someone purely based on music tas...
