Re: Outdoor Gigs

Here's a suggestion. Each gig is put on 3 times. 1. Under 45s with no health problems 2. 45+ with no health problems 3. People with health problems + their carers if they have one. Not necessarily in that order Pretty much financial suicide, even if it was logistically possible. Yes that can't happ...

Re: European Metal Festival Alliance

Rather odd to have a new set from Gutalax instead of a recorded live one. Their set at Brutal Assault last year was the most amazing thing ever, and a lockdown recording won't be the same.

Re: Outdoor Gigs

Looks like it's time to add Gandalf to the blocked list, his inane ramblings have stopped being amusing and are now just sad. I think the forum needs all the members it can get who post  Yes it's a sad day when an interminable attention-seeking assclown like Gandalf is integral to keeping the ...

Re: Outdoor Gigs

I assume Gandalf is just doing this to get a rise.... unfortunately there's no one here anymore to get a rise from.

He's an utter fucking moron if he really is serious about that last post.

He used to grumpy but OK, he's just boring these days.

Re: Outdoor Gigs

Told you. People really need to start listening to what I post I know vastly more about things than most... BTW I'm not going to start putting my sources anywhere for ANY information I may have. Get your own sources.... It's not my fault the government started listening to idiots and started this n...

Re: Outdoor Gigs

A bit pointless trying to organise any seeing as normal gigs are expected to start in August. Supposed to be an announcement in a couple of weeks time relaxing the rules on events. That's if there aren't any spikes and may not be happening in Leicester. August? Great, if true! Where is your source ...

Re: Next Announcement

Can someone explain the virtual fest to me cos I haven't bothered to read about it....is it old sets at festivals being streamed, or new sets they've recorded in lockdown or are playing live? Also do you have to pay to watch it?

Re: The Swedish Invasion 2021 (Dismember, Tiamat & Others)

Is that the whole line up then?

If it's just at the Ballroom they'll only be one stage, so there can't be many more bands if there's any left.

Re: The Swedish Invasion 2021 (Dismember, Tiamat & Others)

Entombed AD aren't the draw that Entombed previously would have been, but the first 2 album sets sounds ace, them and General Surgery make this line up look much improved. Yep 2 days is overkill though. On that note, what happen to the Cosmic Void Festival? Line up looked amazing, but total silence ...

Re: Manowar European Tour 2021 (No UK dates)

7 dates in Germany and one at a Dutch fest, Joey boy seems to playing it safe after the Hellfest embarrassment.

Absolutely no interest in ever seeming them after that utter wankerism.

And I thought the last tour was supposed to be the demented old fart's farewell? Clearly not.

New Alestorm sounds good on first listen, Shit Boat (No Fans) is awful, but apart from that it's a good album.

Re: The Swedish Invasion 2021 (Dismember, Tiamat & Others)

It’s down to what type of set Tiamat will play for me. The electronic stuff, would probably keep me away. You should be ok - it’s a special Clouds and Wildhoney set! See that's tempting cos those albums are ace, however if they plod through their set like zombies like they did when I saw them befor...

Re: Strategy Board Games

My parents are obsessed with Catan, always play it with them when I go to visit. I got them the Seafarers expansion pack a while ago, which makes the games much better. They also recently got Ticket To Ride which I've played with them and the grandkids, and it seems great fun. My dad is currently ob...

Re: The Swedish Invasion 2021 (Dismember, Tiamat & Others)

Sounds proper shit so far, Dismember are meh and Tiamat are without the dullest live band I've ever seen, left after 5 songs before I slashed my wrists through shee boredom! And never even heard of the other 4!

Hi Chris!

Unfortunately there's fuck all people on this forum now, so the FB page or a more active forum are probably better places to advertise your band.
