Re: Next Announcement

Comparing Conquest of Steel to Evil Scarecrow is an insult to Conquest of Steel tbf. . Although Conquest Of Steel weren't as bad as Evil Scarecrow (in the sense they were tongue in cheek but not a complete joke like ES), there are definite paralells, ie they both built a reputation on being enterta...

Re: Next Announcement

Fucking evil scarecrow, what a waste, a shit novelty act as final headliner. I know this year is tough and but the barrel has been well and truly scraped. They will get a big crowd to be fair, they always do. They are utter dogshit though, and I wish Bloodstock would stop plugging them; they got th...

Re: Next Announcement

If that happens I expect that Bloodstock will still go ahead but with the vast majority of international bands dropping off the lineup That would explain why bands like Therapy? and The Wildhearts are now being added not that I'm complaining, as they're both great bands, especially Therapy? who hav...

Assume the upstairs at the Ritz will be closed for this one.

Ummm yeah, Amaranthe's last London headline show was at Islington academy, this is a venue over twice the capacity.

And Beyond The Black are hardly much of a draw.

Re: So much for Iced Earth...

I read somewhere that its 3 - 4 years in jail as part of his plea bargain, based on cooperation in other cases. Although seeing as he's allegedly a founding member of a far right terrorist group that seems a bit lenient. 3 years seems very lenient as from the pictures he seemed like one of the ring...

Yeah it's a plea bargain.

30 years seems extreme, but I really have no sympathy when he was so obvious and dumb about it.

Re: Paradise Lost & Moonspell UK Tour

Dam, was hoping for a Moonspell headline tour. Not a huge fan of PL. Will decide nearer the time if it’s worth going to. If gigs are all back up and runn8ng before Xmas there are going to be tours galore in the spring hopefully Likewise, PL I can take or leave, will seem them at a fest, but would g...

Re: The Still drinking But in Isolation thread

Chicken? Woo hoo, KFC, Swiss Chalet, and Popeyes here I come! But seriously, thanks for the advice. It looks hard but I'll try. That stuff would actually fit into the keto diet, just make sure it's just chicken and with no bread! Hence when I was keto, fried chicken wings were one of my favourite t...

Re: The Still drinking But in Isolation thread

i0th2 and north sea storm, what are your tips for losing weight. I've been working from home and probably will continue to do so after this pandemic so I get very little exercise as compared to when I went to the office and would take walking lunches. Besides a daily yoga challenge that I do very p...
