Re: Boss Keloid + Tuskar UK tour

When we were discussing it with the booking agent, they reassured us that they would look to postpone/rearrange as opposed to cancelling should it not be possible to go ahead.

Re: 2020 Albums

The debut album by Fires in the Distance is fantastic. It's called Echoes from deep November. Not sure what they are, I guess sort of doomy death. Their music has a really call plinky piano noise going on in the background which sounds fairly original. I checked this out and its flipping great, tha...

Re: Guess what date gigs will be back to normal (no social distancing)

I wonder if they'll get rid of social distancing entirely as long as people wear masks? (Maybe having designating 'drinking areas' where you can remove it to do so. They would never be able to police it in a gig though. You'd need loads more bouncers. I guess you'd have to be wearing it as you ente...

Re: Nu Power Metal

Yeah, Second Wave is the most famous bands in the style of black metal that we all know. First is more like... the precursor to those. Third is like the next generation on from the Second.

Re: Outdoor Gigs

I'm an independent promoter in Sheffield, and work with a number of venues here. They keep passing me info based on what themselves have been advised. Latest bit was the 'big gigs' (implied to be Arena etc) would be back from April-ish, and to expect smaller gigs back prior to that. One of the venue...

Re: 2020 Albums

Just listened to Tales of Kreia by Ukrainian band Midgard. Anyone who is a fan of folk metal/melodeath hybrids should get a kick out of it!

Re: movies

Was bored this morning so went to the early showing of Knives Out - great cast, Danial Craig with a Louisana drawl was odd but his Columbo esque detective was fun. Hopefully there will be another one with him. Looking at the end if year lists, found a Swedish sci fi called Aniara about a doomed spa...

We tend to leave after the Sunday main stage headliner, so I'm hoping UTA aren't being bumped up!
