Dead Blonde Stars won the Sheffield M2TM. It was a fantastic final, and they were brilliant.

I actually like almost all of the replacement bands this year over the original bookings. Festival looks pretty darn good from my perspective now.

IIRC the statement they put out saying she was taking a step back. It doesn't specify to what level/amount. Could be quite feasible that she continues to book bands, but stays out of the public eye.

I do think it would be wiser if they have someone else do it though.

Sleep Token are extremely popular right now, appealing to a very wide audience. They are selling out 1000 cap venues and playing some larger ones than that. Add to that that the promo side of their game is massively on point and its not surprising that one of the fests have taken a chance on them.
