Re: BOA 2018: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.

The good: Most of the bands! Nightwish Judas Priest-yes he's getting on a bit but I couldnt really fault his performance. Alestorm-I just love them, cheer me up no matter what! Callus in the Jaegar tent. I am biased, I know the singer but I hadn't seen them before and I thought the sound was really ...

Re: Drop off point

I saw that, I just didn't see where it goes from (the car park being a big place).

And again, it says 'with disability'. If you say there's a stop for the purpose I will believe you though :) I can still see my being refused on it however without some sort of proof I have a back condition.

Re: Drop off point

I've looked at the info page and googled and all I can find is that the shuttle bus travels from nearby train stations etc. If I was to want to get it from the car park to the main entrance, where do I wait for it? I assume the drop off point? I have a feeling it just wont stop there lol

Re: Drop off point

It states for the disabled. Are they going to ask me for proof? I'm not a blue badge holder. I just have chronic pain and am trying other treatment before I resort to an operation. I know nobody is legally allowed to ask for proof but in short, will someone like me be permitted to use the bus?

Re: Drop off point

It was one of the perks of the festival for me if I am honest as I felt it meant bloodstock cared about their customers wellbeing. It being situated in the carpark is a major difference to before.

Re: Drop off point

Ok. I'm impacted by it having a quite severe back condition so I have to factor in getting there much earlier as I know I will need several trips in order to carry things one bit at a time.

Re: What's upset you?

My Grandmother died last week. We were really close. I am so glad the funeral isn't until I get back, although obviously I would have had to miss some of BS if it was.

Re: I am *hic* drunk on the fuggin' internet

Drunk. Shouldn't be drunk-been out on my friend's trike and was sooooo fecking cold! A human icicle. So got back and had a well-deserved glass of wine. Warm and toasty now. And almost finished the bottle and had a vodka too. Going away for two days to a hotel with a friend. Not an ideal time to be h...

Re: What pissed you off today

Kick him out of the house. You never know it might kick his ass into gear. Would be largely difficult. He's owned the house 15 years and I've only been on the mortgage for a year. I'd need a shit hot lawyer. Not sure I have the heart, even though I do think a large kick up the ass is needed. I'll m...

Re: 2015 - The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

The Ugly The food, nothing for veggies that wasn't some continental hippie drivel. There were no jacket potatoes, no veggie burgers made from ACTUAL quorn, nothing with any real energy values whatsoever. I live up on a mountaintop in Wales and even my local chippie does an actual veggie burger, non...

Re: What pissed you off today

He's not your responsibility, get the hell out of there and make yourself happy! Wpmot: I didn't get all my deposit back , and as far as I knoe there's literally no reason for it. The house was spotless when I left. You're right, I know. But I already have two mortgages and I am self employed and n...
