Re: Bloodstock Forum Meet 2017
7pm seemed like a pretty spot on time to me, I'll be there again as always.

Re: Computer Games Thread
Tempted by Domina (basically Spartacus, the game), but I have way too much to play as it is so I haven't really been tempted by much.

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
We've already seen the homophobic twat David Lidington appointed to Justice Secretary, and there's already talks of the time limit on abortions being reduced so I wouldn't be so sure about that.
May is gonna bargain this country back into the fucking dark ages.

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
Probably quite a while, the DUP have backed nearly every decision that the Conservatives have made over the last few years anyway, particularly as concerns austerity. They are also fully behind a hard brexit thanks to some tactical large party donations, and are even more corrupt (look up the DUP's...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
DUP in power... what a fucking nightmare. The thought of what May has promised those loonies is quite frightening.

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)
It's looking like it. Tbh that was what I expected if the Conservatives didn't win, I held out very little hope for a Labour majority.

Re: movies
Yeah, that's definitely part of it. My expectations were basically in the bowels of hell with how low they were, so anything above the caliber of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer would have been a pleasant surprise.

Re: movies
Agreed on Wonder Woman, it was pretty damn good. I also finally watched Batman vs Superman, and while it is very flawed it is nowhere near as bad as everyone made it out to be. The extended cut was an improvement but I still didn't think much of it. It was all just too dull, miserable and grey...an...

Re: Computer Games Thread
Well next time you probably won't need to get everything, it's the graphics card that is replaced the most regularly. But tbh, with a 1070, you'll be fine for some time and you can always just go SLI 1070s if you need an upgrade. Gonna be getting a 1070 myself when I upgrade, but I'm waiting f...

Mafia 3 PC port is lackluster. Good thing the game is so good.
I've also been playing a ton more Darkest Dungeon, that game is excellent.

Re: Computer Games Thread
Bioshock "remaster"... lol. But hey, it's Bioshock again! Also been playing the open beta of Paladins. It's basically Overwatch, but with some MOBA-ish vibes with items and upgrades. It also works a bit differently where any team can push the payload, there doesn't seem to be set offense a...
