Onto season 2 now.

You done fucked up now Tommy.

Peaky is probably one of the best British shows on right now. Just so many talented actors who just smash it out every episode.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Getting psyched for the Gears HD remake and Dishonoured definitive edition next week. Both look so good.

Re: movies

I personally thought it was on the same level as the first Avenger s however I will criticize the layout of the film. Although I expect Infinity War will be very different. But I would rate the films as follows (best to least favourite) Guardian's Winter Soldier Avengers 1&2 Dark World / Iron Ma...

Re: movies

I thought the new Star Wars, Ant-Man, Batman vs Superman and Avengers trailers all looked awesome. Haven't seen the new Terminator one yet. Needless to say, I'll likely be seeing all of them on release day. Also saw an extended trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road before Fast & Furious 7, and that's ...

Re: movies

Edge of Tomorrow/Live.Die.Repeat - a surprisingly great film. It's like a mix of Starship Troopers meets Groundhog Day. It's not bringing anything new to the table but it's blending separate elements really well. By far the best film I've seen Tom Cruise in since Mission Impossible 3. 8/10

Re: Computer Games Thread

Took some games for trade in to Game today and was told they were worth about £25. So I told them CEX were offering more and after 10 minutes they upped it to £38. So I grabbed myself a copy of Wolfenstein and Lego Marvel for Xbone.

Re: movies

The third had so many pot holes in it, it was God awful. It put me off wanting to watch the other 2 although the new one looks great.

Re: TV: Current and Recent

The Following was a good start. If the trailers hadn't given away who was behind the new group, the first episode would have been a decent thriller episode. But as they did, it was still a great start. I wonder when Joe will show up and in what capacity now.

The Following starts back up tonight on sky. Looking forward to it. Also Hannibal has been confirmed to start June 4th. More Mads Mikkelson is always welcome.

Re: movies

While I agree you don't necessarily need plot for a good film, it helps to spread a message like the one that film is trying to portray. It was done really poorly and is just a film of visualization as opposed to one of meaning.

Re: movies

Only God Forgives - visually, it's a great piece of work. Camera angles and the use of colour is great but the complete lack of any plot makes what is shown boring and completely confusing. I really wanted to like this before I watched it as Drive is such a masterpiece I can't understand how the dir...

The one where they go into all the CGI that went into making the film?

It's by his wife and documents the filming and production of the film up to Cannes.

Re: movies

Well it's the first thing I've seen Jude Law and thought he was good. One thing I'm not sure about is what's wity the beginning and end sequence. The boy with the toy gun and the girl with book play no part in the story so they weren't really needed.
