Re: So...Marilyn Manson's evil image isn't just an act. (Allegedly)

just a allegation for now by a disgruntled ex. I agree with your innocent until proven guilty sentiment but it's 5 "disgruntled" ex's. Dita Von Teese hasn't accused him of actual abuse- she lived with him for 4 or 5 years before they married and cites infidelity and drug abuse as the reas...

Re: Bands you saw before they made it big

I used to go to the Cart and Horses, Maryland Point every Friday night in the mid '70s when some Maiden members played in other bands. Don't remember much (too much lager) but I remember meeting Steve Harris outside the Red Lion Leytonstone one night...he was going to lend me his sister's cardigan!

Re: Guess what date gigs will be back to normal (no social distancing)

Re: Coronavirus

The government have stopped counting people who die 28 days after a positive test. So people that die on ventilators are no longer counted. Dodgy. Not like the tories to try and manipulate the figures to make themselves look good. Scotland has used the 28 day method from day 1. 88% of deaths occur ...

Ian Holm died on Friday aged 88. He was in some interesting films including The Naked Lunch, The Fifth Element as well as the Tolkein stuff.

Other than that, I've just been watching old movies for the past few weeks.

Yes, agreed- Better Call Saul is excellent. If you like Bob Odenkirk (Saul) he is also in The Post on Netflix which is about an American newspaper.
