Re: 2020 Albums

They're a local band for me over here and, yeah, they totally stepped up their game since I last saw them live more than 7 years ago. I hope to see them live again so I can buy all these great new CDs they've been releasing. Nice. There seems to be a lot of good stuff coming out of Canada at...

Recently discovered Panzerfaust and boy am I glad that I did!

Check out The Suns of Perdition - Chapter II: Render Unto Eden and last years' Chapter I: War, Horrid War if you haven't already. It's epic stuff indeed!!!

The new Hellripper and Spirit Adrift tracks are both awesome.

Very excited about their upcoming albums.

I should join the group

Yeah it's cool, there's another one called 'HELLRIPPER GOAT KVLT' which he admins as well.

It's less formal so people post pics of their merch, recommend albums, etc.

Re: Hellripper UK headline dates

The Black Heart is reopening with limited (seating only) capacity but all Hellripper live plans have been shelved until next year. :( Has the Black Heart gig been cancelled then? I can't find info anywhere The Facebook event has been officially cancelled now but James replied to one of my comments ...

Re: 2020 Albums

The Night album "High Tides - Distant Skies" is very enjoyable if you fancy trying something with an early 80's hard rock influence.

Re: 2020 Albums

New albums from Necrot, Skeletal Remains and Carnation in recent weeks.

I found Necrot and SR a bit underwhelming tbh.

Of the three Carnation is my favourite. More Entombed worship, possibly not quite as strong as their last but still solid.

Re: Necessity of a Smart-Phone

I've never actually paid for my own mobile, I've always been given one for work which I can use for personal.

My wife and kids are all Apple fans but I prefer Android. Got a Samsung Galaxy S9+. It's not the latest generation but I love it.

Re: The rather morbid celebrity RIP Thread.

I'm lost for words at this news to be honest. It's tragic.

Nightmare Logic is such a good album and due to illness, badly timed holidays and covid I'll never get the chance to see them.

Re: 2020 Albums

What did you think? I thought Bedsore were the most interesting of the four but it felt a bit uneven through the course of the whole album. Needs a few more listens. The others I've only played a couple of tracks from but Year of the Knife sounded like metal-core/death-core which I'm never a fan of.

Re: 2020 Albums

There's been two highly enjoyable death metal albums in the past couple of months: Ulthar - Providence Faceless Burial - Speciation And the two new Hellripper tracks sound great. Similar blackened-speed to what he was doing on the previous album and Black Arts EP but an even stronger straight-up Mot...
