Re: 2019 Albums

Blood Incantation is great, but a lot less dirty sounding than Starspawn and a lot like Mithras. Definitely looking forward to another few listens. Have you been given an advance? The first track was only released a few days ago. It's difficult to judge as it takes forever to get going. It's clearl...

Re: 2019 Albums

Warcrab - Damned In Endless Night Doomy OSDM. Reminds me of Heartwork era Carcass and Bolt Thrower in places. I know most of Warcrab very well and year, they're huge fans of that sort of stuff. I could be accused of bias, being that they're mates of mine, but their new album is huge. I always thoug...

Just as long as I'm back on that 11.30 train I don't mind. We can have a few beers in Camden afterwards if you wanted to draw the night out a bit longer. :drink:

Re: 2019 Albums

Two more highly enjoyable contenders for a top 10 push:
Witch Vomit - Buried Deep In A Bottomless Basement
Riff-tastic OSDM.
Warcrab - Damned In Endless Night
Doomy OSDM. Reminds me of Heartwork era Carcass and Bolt Thrower in places.

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last: Sound City Ipswich (Snapped Ankles, The Murder Capial and many more). Best thing to have happened in Ipswich, possibly ever. At £15 it was just ridiculously good value for money.

Next: Cattle Decapitation at the end of the month.

No but surely that goes against CD's strict pro-animal principles doesn't it? I hope Travis doesn't have a diva moment when he sees them and pull the gig.

Re: Cattle Decapitation UK Tour

I'm not a mega fan of them but I've never seen Cat Decap before and I'm desperate for another DM gig. But but but Carnation is only 3 days after, you could of gone to that. Yeah but they're a bit Entombedy or a bit Fleshcrawly and I fancied something different. Also the chance of trying a new...

Re: Cattle Decapitation UK Tour

Wouldn't have thought about that. I've already got Sunn O))) and Dead Congregation in the same week, so decided this would be the one I'd miss. I've tried and tried and tried to "get" Sunn O))) but they're just not for me. I'm not a mega fan of them but I've never seen Cat Decap before an...

Is that the Spectral Voice gig with Abyssal? I've had my eye on that too but will probably have to give it a miss as December is already looking busy.
