Re: movies
I enjoyed it too even though there were a few holes. Was looking forward to that, don't think it got much of a release, certainly don't remember it being advertised at any of the cinemas near me. Another film I was looking forward to that I never saw advertised near me was Outlander , just sort of ...

Re: What has made you happy today
We are the only people who will never be made redundant. Ha, I wouldn't be so sure, I've seen 2 Job Centre's in Leeds get shut down, and I know at least half of the staff of one weren't absorbed into the one where all the clients where shifted to. Still, more Job Security than most in these times...

Mirrors Edge on 360 is £13.99, Little big planet £12.99) Just ordered Fable 2 on it for £17.99 :D Do you not like 2nd hand games? Amazon Marketplace has all those games cheaper. I buy most of my games 2nd hand fro...

Re: What has made you happy today

Re: What has made you happy today
I've managed to wrangle myself a job interview with Warner Bros somehow...
I don't know what's more intimidating, the interview itself or the prospect of moving back to London if I get the job...

Re: The Book thread
Just started reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown recently. Heard it was a really good book. Lies. Dan Brown books are proper toilet books, chapters that are about as long as the average, erm... visit, and content that will wash over you in a sort of lukewarm vaguely acceptable manner. as an actu...

Far Cry 2 is keeping me busy as well, great game. Noooo! Don't be fooled by its apparent open world, its linear, boring, repetitive and tedious to the extreme, average at very best! Today, I crossed a river on a rickety wooden bridge when a jeep opened fire from behind me. I stopped, got out, and f...
