Re: The Wrestling Thread

Preferring TNA over WWE at the moment, liking the aces and eights storyline, will be looking forward to Bound For Glory. Might try and watch RAW later, as usually its up on youtube, but from what i read is Ryback being pushed to take on Punk and isnt Cena out for a few weeks now with a shoulder inju...

Re: movies

Warrior. MMA. Alcoholic Nick Nolte. Tom Hardy being buff as fuck. Drama. Family. Tears. 9/10. I ejaculated tears of manly joy and love. I thought it was awful myself. It was like the most predictable storyline ever, and all the fight scenes were shit. I enjoyed it, cliched and predictable but enter...

Re: movies

Taken 2 has been rated 12A, which sucks, but not surprised most likely a studio decision to have a watered down cut, to get more punters in, but takes out all the fun of seeing Neeson killing and torturing Albanians! Oh dear :( Here's hoping for a higher rated cut on DVD. There apparently will be o...

Re: movies

Disney have now claimed the spear was never in the UK theatrical release!! I'm sure it was in the cinema version, probably quickly edited so as to make it a brief shot. If it has been removed totally from the dvd version then it could be a distributor decision, for example The Hunger Games when it ...

Re: movies

Stephen King would disagree, he hated Kubrick's version. Yeah I heard that. King wanted it to be more about the supernatural whilst Kubrick wanted to keep it mainly founded in "This dude is going fucking crazy, humans are fucked up" Love The Shining, probably the only time ive prefered a ...

Re: movies

TOTAL REMAKE... Sorry, TOTAL RECALL On numerous occasions director Len Wiseman has stated that his new version "is not a remake" and this has been backed up by his cast and crew at every opportunity. The primary reason for this utterly transparent falsehood being that none of the action t...

Re: movies

DETENTION Ever seen a film with so many good ideas it unfortunately collapses under the weight of itself by the end? Well Detention is a film with so many terrible ideas it collapses in on itself after ten minutes due to its gargantuan sense of smugness and wanton self indulgence. A complete car cr...

Re: movies

THE ROOM Have seen this about 15 times or so, im losing count, its such a great film, in that classic so bad its good mode, simply terrible, badly acted, full of plot holes but an immensely funny film, one that has to be seen with a group of people! DEMONS 1 & 2 I brought these on dvd, not Blu R...

Re: movies

PIRANHA 3DD Stupid yet damn fun sequel, not as gory as the first one, but still shamelessly daft fun, with the usual required boobs and blood, and it has the Hoff in it. IRON SKY Awesome film with Nazis now based on the dark side of the moon, planning a full scale invasion of earth. Some funny polit...

Re: movies

Nazi's At The Centre Of The Earth looks great but will be terrible, great titles usually lead to crap films, i will still see it though. I do enjoy some asylum films, there version of Paranormal Activity (Paranormal Entity) was much better, has anyone seen there Transformers rip off, Transmorphers?

Re: movies

GRAVE ENCOUNTERS- Decent found footage horror about some Most Haunted style tv crew who spend a night filming locked in an abandoned asylum and everything goes wrong from there. Manages to at least try something different and throws in a few decent scares along the way, in an already often used shak...
