Re: Covid killed Anathema.

As said before, they have been on hiatus before. I sincerely hope that they do come back in the future as I absolutely love their stuff and it would be a serious loss to music if they didn't ps another reason why I would like them back is that they are the only band I've managed to get my other half...

Re: Guess what date gigs will be back to normal (no social distancing)

sadly been thinking that gigs won't be back for a very long time which will mean more bands will be forced to give up.......Anathema announcing an indefinite hiatus today was seriously bad news

Re: Heilung UK Show 2021

I hadn't realised they had got to academy sized even if it is only one date. That said, I'll probably try and get to the gig

There are other bands on the lineup I may dislike musically but for me, none can fuck as far off as this cunt.

100% agreed I'm surprised that this thread exists really as the answer is so obvious

Re: Amenities improvements/requests

I think the biggest improvement would be to persuade Deli Kate to come out of retirement....................Sadly that's not going to happen though.

Re: 2020 Albums

New Paradise lost album feels like a definite return to the past which is great news to me. Liking the new Winterfylleth album a great deal City Burials by Katatonia is another solid album Pick of the bunch for the last couple of weeks has to go to Old Corpse Road - On Ghastly Shores Lays the Wrecka...

Would love to see them again, but am not convinced that gigs will be taking place by then. I'll defer purchase until nearer the event

Re: Next Announcement

So, they deleted my account for posting that screenshot. Whilst I support the organisers in their choice of when to make their announcement re cancellation, the deletion of accounts IS a thing worth whinging about. It's pretty and pathetic and obviously highlights the issue and the incompetence of ...

Re: Next Announcement

Obviously, not going ahead, come on Bloodstock, have the balls and tell people I feel sorry for the organisers at this point. They obviously want to put the festival on and probably have good reasons for making the announcement at a specific point, be that insurance or just getting the Comms right ...

I'll nip to the Craufurd in Milton Keynes, assuming that live gigs have started again by then ....which I'm not convinced they will have.

Re: Next Announcement

I do hope we can have Devin next year. Devin, Dark Tranquility, Night Flight Orchestra and Unleash the Archers...other than that scrap the whole year, it was a shitshow even before this happened. I sincerely hope Bloodstock don't try and stick too close to this lineup in future, it really isn't wor...

I think you are probably right there. That said, I am really hoping I am wrong and there is the faint chance we open up sufficiently for HRH Vikings at the back end of November. Probably wishful thinking though

Inevitable I agree, but is there a chance that cancellation could become postponement? It was a pretty tasty bill after all.
