Re: Next Announcement
Which day are Necrot on, I'm probably being blind but I can't see them on the line up page yet? Are you getting them mixed up with Noctem? Although now you mention it, I'm sure Necrot were on the lineup before :? I don't think so, I'm sure I read on this week's email Necrot we're added on, I could ...

Re: Next Announcement
Dropkick Murphys did a gig the other week from Fenway Park and got Bruce Springsteen to play a couple of songs remotely with them too, it looked pretty cool to be honest and I saw something on I think Metal Injections YouTube with bands doing distanced sets and it worked OK, having said all that I p...

Re: Next Announcement
I don't even like the headliners, Devin I've never understood the appeal, Behemoth I like but they play everywhere so a headline performance by them hardly makes me buy a ticket, and Priest I like but nothing more. Following on from the distinctly meh headliners, we get: Friday - naff thrash from S...

Re: Next Announcement
I like the headliners still, but that is, for me, the weakest undercard they have had. Re: Next Announcement
So is it because its priest that no one is up in arms about a repeat booking like they were with Slayer, Megadeth and many more that had more of a gap? Well yeah, because Priest are fucking legends whereas Slayer are shite and Megadeth are barely above average. Nice one, thanks for clearing that up.

I'd imagine you'd be better off trying Facebook for this kind of thing.

Re: First Timer Questions
We all have a pop at the line up and such but really cannot fault the beer or the service Certainly none of these half hour queues or salty beer Pretty damn well kept ale from what I remember Oh we can. The Hobgoblin is usually undrinkable after the first day. And that's generally it. You end up ha...

Re: Next announcement
Apart from sing. Saw them support Metallica. Worst band that I've ever seen live and I've seen some terrible bands. They were fucking shite. Why anyone rates them I don't know. I reckon people only like them because Metallica like them. Same goes for that other shit band he was in. Even gave them a...

Re: Next announcement
I'd be happy with Body Count, saw them the other year and wasn't sure what to expect but they were really good.

Good for the festival and a fair few on here, I'm hoping for a good undercard as I can't stand any of these headliners, I wonder when we will get some more bands announced?

Re: Third Headliner Possibilities
Avantasia due a tour? That would do me. Avantasia drew a pitiful crowd when they were special guests a few years back and their stock hasn't risen in the UK at all since. Absolutely no chance of them headlining. Thank god for that, awful experience that was watching them but there are some scary na...

Re: King 810
You shouldn't get crucified for having your own opinion, personally I thought it was boring and self indulgent and I genuinely thought the whole set was one song! But if you liked it then fair enough, I enjoyed Hatebreed but I never listen to them, they bought a good energy to the place and yeah the...

Re: BOA 2017 - rate the bands you saw
Decapitated - quite enjoyed them, I've never really listened to them before but they were decent enough 7/10 Testament - bit of an odd setlist I thought and being honest the last two times I've seen them now they look like they're going through the motions 6.5/10 Blind Guardian - not for me but the ...
