Re: Food Guide

One wander and you'd find pizza pockets, real pizzas, paellas, lovely paninis, chips, chili bread, specific veggie places, pancake place and all the other shit. I'm veggie for health reasons. I can't eat junk food (pizzas, chippies, pancakes, panini's etc) because it makes me terribly ill, the same...

The Good Bogs were nice and clean Security were much less confrontational than the previous years Merch at Goddess was solid as always Cannibal Corpse were awesome. Orange Goblin, with a but... Enslaved, with a different but... Ensiferum, with an unfortunate but... Last but not least, Korpiklaani -...

Any ideas?

You could start by telling your mate it's wrong to force a baby into a cult long before they can make their own informed decisions on what they want to believe in life? Food for thought.

Re: What beers are you bringing?

Seeing as we're doing Bloodstock on a budget this year (Bloodstock, moving house, then Beermageddon to top it all off!) we're bringing lots and lots of beer in cans, we've figured that me and the Squife will easily go through ten cans a day, so that makes four big ass crates of cans, probably Stella...

Re: Excited?

I'm still recovering from a mate's 21st on Friday, we went to Grind in Chester. We weren't expecting anything amazing out of the DJ, but... Oh my various Gods, They Played Puddle of Mud ! The DJ was so, so utterly useless at their job that I'm now actually looking forward to the DJ's on the Sophie s...

It's gone up considerably in recent years, last time I checked it was £35 a slab.

Re: Difference between campsites?

Doesn't the entrance to Ironwood take you through Midgard anyway? I don't remember as I haven't camped on that side of Midgard since 2011. I've been doing Midgard for five years now, it certainly gets a worse reputation than it deserves but it's probably not the best place to be if you're looking at...

Re: New tent.

Still need to put up our tent to check it for moldy snacks from last year. After checking the tent out last year, we found about half a bag's worth of old peanuts that had began to evolve into a bunch of hairy triffids in what usually serves as our sleeping area.

Re: Late Night Entertainment

In the VIP tent there were those girls with angle grinders who seemed to be performing after every five minutes. Maybe it was some product placement to help secure the sponsorship from Halfords. If they need somebody to secure the sponsorship with Halfords, I'll bring Angles The Grindyman* to the s...

Andy Hall was better for the Bloodstock forum than this new ''look''.

Seriously, I feel like one of the nazis during the final scenes of Ark of the Covenant whenever I look at the new forum layout.

Re: Does Bloodstock need more imaginative stages?

The sound quality at the 2011 edition all but ruined the entire festival for me. But still never left me detached like at 2013. So you're saying that something as inconsequential as the main stage construction made you decide not to attend the festival? Did a part of the stage collapse on you? Shou...

Re: Next announcement

Bloody CARLING?! That's as bad as Wrexham lager! I'd sooner drink neatsfoot oil. Grafenwalder from Lidl (look it up) is a fine ale compared to bloody Carling.

It's good that they're dropping the prices a bit, I just hope that they're offering something other than Carling.
