Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last: Cradle in London. Great gig. I would say the current lineup is the best live band they have ever had.

Next: Damnation festival. Loads of stuff I want to see. As long as I don't pick up my wife's awful cold I should have a great time.

Re: Next Announcement

Well, that puts My attendance back on the agenda. However, it doesn't sell me a ticket yet. Preist were at the fest very recently, and I still anticipate seeing them with Ozzy at some point. Behemoth are good, but not so special I can't miss them. Its still down to the other announcements for me, al...

Re: Next Announcement

It could be Marylin Manson and Rob Zombie, as they are touring together in the US. It wouldn't be a particularly well rounded set of headliners though

"If" Judas Priest do not get booked then is a KK/Ripper/Binks set a good shout? I loved hearing Ripper sing Priest classics and I`m sure they would offer a different set to JP themselves Personally i`d love to be in the Sophie singing my head off after a few jars to this Totally. Its the ...

Re: Next Announcement

I think this next announcement wil determine whether I atend next year or not. I'm not holding my breath for it, the announcements so far have been the weakest since 2015 for my tastes.

Calling out bigotry for what it is isn't bullshit.

Both sides are painfully full of shit (self-righteous egotism all round) and, more importantly, its not on topic.

As for the announcement: Its another underwhelming one. I do love PL, but I've seen them loads so it's hardly special. I'm not giving up yet, but I might be not doing the fest for the first time in years.

Re: Use of Referendums

I do think it should have been a larger majority. It would have stopped things being so tricky afterwards, and (assuming it would have been over 50% leave) it would have given the EU a kick up the arse to sort out the undemocratic way it's run. However I was and still am (just about) a proponents of...

Technically, it appears not (though I personally don't mind):

No.

Feel good being rude? Whatever floats your boat I guess?

To answer the question properly: Emperor have probably played too recently, and in the SG slot, so I'd say it's highly doubtful they would headline nowadays.
