Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Di Canio has gone already ! I know Sunderland started bad but I expected at least another couple of games to be given to him to turn it around. Which was great news for me as I had a tenner on him at 12-1 to be first Prem manager gone. On another note great second half by the mighty toffees at the ...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Good first half, shame about the second. Ran out of ideas and ran out of legs. And Aspas came on. I don't think it's a coincidence just how close his name is to "a spazz", absolute donkey of a player! Still, 10 points out of 12 is fantastic, Moses looked good and we get the Dwayne Dibbley...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Complaining about MOTD highlights? Tsk you should try BBCs coverage of Leagues 1 and 2. Blink and you miss it coverage with both divisions crammed into 15/20 minutes. I never watch the League Show - not from any feelings of superiority over clubs from the lower leagues but purely because, as you sa...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Fucking BBC and their shitty 'highlights' of the Everton-Chelsea game. Where was the penalty shout incident or when Mirallas was clattered when clean through? Also made it look like the worlds greatest smash and grab when it was nothing like that. Glad I actually went to the game (albeit six hours d...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Lewis Holtby's making a decent claim to a starting spot in our first team. He's still got a lot of competition this year, but based on tonight's performance, I think he could be featuring quite a lot this year. I like him. He looks busy, confident on the ball, a tricky player. Everton are my team b...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Went to Norwich-Bury with a Norwich supporting mate last night. Was a very enjoyable game and the Bury fans (probably about 50% of their usual home gate) made it a good evening with a definite 1980's feel to the atmosphere.

Heres to Roberto's first win as Everton boss tonight too.

Wellies
Some booze
Some snacks.

Thank gawd for that so you aren't quite so bad after all. RAWK is an LFC forum for your lot and is filled with the most deluded and bizarre of redshite going. Anyone not toeing the party line is automatically banned for the most banal of posts. Have a look at it you might find it quite amusing to vi...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

Everton make three sigings in early July shocker! Admittedly they aren't the sort to make the pulse race (yet) but Dithering Dave is no more it seems. Thank fuck! Three from Wigan though. Don't forget where they ended up last year. Just out of curiosity but are you a fully paid up member of r...

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread

So, Mark 'failed everywhere' Hughes is now being linked to the Stoke job - why do clubs continue to re-employ from that group of failed managers whose names keep on cropping up whenever theres a top flight (or even second flight) job up for grabs?
