Re: The (speculative) Weather Thread
I'm a bit fearful to comment too much on the weather in case I jinx it, but at the moment, the forecast is not showing any rain from Thursday onwards... just clouds. Keeping crossed all my fingers, toes, and anything else there is to cross. Though to be fair, as long as Thursday is dry I'm happy, I ...

Re: Arriving early at the fest.
True, the queues for the car park would be mental if everyone just turned up at 12. I'm just hoping they actually let us in the car park if I was to arrive at 10-11ish. Not sure what we'd do if we got turned away... park at the side of the road?

Re: Potential Clashfinder
Updated the clashfinder to make Sophie band times 5-10 mins shorter. If these times are anywhere near correct, the Ensiferum/Saille clash is no more, though 1349 and Ethereal still clash  Hopefully today will be the day when we finally know for sure  Shorter Sophie times IS properly shit t...

Re: Potential Clashfinder
Yep, I fully expect some silly clashes, and 1349 and Ethereal wouldn't surprise me at all. Anyways you're all welcome, I'll keep an eye out for the elusive set times over the next couple days and update the clashfinder the second they are released ;) Just a small point, it seems the Jager ban...

Arriving early at the fest.
Hey guys, feel free to delete this if it's been posted already. But anyway, I want to arrive at Bloodstock as early as possible this year, due to missing out on where I wanted to camp last year, and generally having nothing better to do. On the info page it says not to arrive before 12 midday ...

Re: The (speculative) Weather Thread
Current forecast isn't too bad. Cloudy Thurs-Sat, some showers on Sun. Wonder how long it'll be before it changes again

Re: What beers are you bringing?
Yeah that deal is decent, my local Tesco has Hobgoblin, Tanglefoot, Wainwright, Abbot Ale, and a bunch of other decent beers in the deal. Heading there just before the fest to stock up

Re: Potential Clashfinder
Hey guys! It was me that made the other (newer) clashfinder and yeah I had no idea what to put for the Sophie times after I realised about the extra slot, anyway I've just updated it and shifted the times later so that the headliner finishes at 12. It's more likely that the stage will finish later r...

Re: A free-for-all thread
I'm annoyed that it couldn't wait a few more weeks to return to normal UK "summer". The baking heat went away just before Bloodstock, the bastard.
Though I guess we were quite lucky, it could have been worse (until the Sunday

The realisation that in exactly a week's time I'll be flying to Germany for my first German folk metal festival, it should be amazing.

Re: Repeat Bookings
MOONSORROW <3 My favourite band. Loads of people loved them in 2012, they should come back asap.
Also Amorphis, I keep going on about this all over, but we need to get them back for their special Tales from the Thousand Lakes show. Screw Wacken, bring it to Bloodstock.
