Re: A free-for-all thread

I'm annoyed that it couldn't wait a few more weeks to return to normal UK "summer". The baking heat went away just before Bloodstock, the bastard.

Re: What has made you happy today

The realisation that in exactly a week's time I'll be flying to Germany for my first German folk metal festival, it should be amazing. :D :D

They can claim a second house if they're commute is over 60 mins/20 miles U wot :x :x :x That's ridiculous. Not really, think about it. Being an MP is not like working for a company, you are representing the people of your constituency. Now, let's say your constituency is in Newcastle, and you are ...

I had to throw somewhere between 40 and 50 pre-packaged sandwiches straight into the waste disposal. Hooray for wasted food and wasted plast...

Re: The Relationships Thread

moving from short to long distance is a lot harder That is so true :( Personally long distance has never worked for me (going from short to long distance that is), but I know of friends who have managed it. It definitely does depend on the personalities of both people, if you're both pretty good at...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

My mate with a severe aversion to the combination of sweet and savoury will do his nut. He gets angry enough when someone orders a korma or a Hawaiian pizza. Quite right. Are you mad. Both of those things are divine. And as for snacks, one of my favourite things ever is Japanese senbei rice c...

Lazy people at work.

I work at Debenhams cafe and we have a couple of sixth formers who work on the weekends. They just sort of stand around talking and doing everything together, really slowly and very badly. It's very annoying.

Re: What has made you happy today

If I had to buy an album with it, it would be one by a good band. ;) But sir, Hell ARE a good band. I mi...

Re: Computer Games Thread

A friendly bloke Bloke brought my PS4 round yesterday morning (Wasn't supposed to be getting one 'till next year) and it can stay in the box until either I get bored with my PS3 or until a half decent game comes out for PS4  I'm thinking the same thing about upgrading from the PS2 I still have...

Doom is the shit, have you played the mod brutal doom? It's normal doom but with extreme violence involved. Also the coolest enemies were the revenants. http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs25/f/2008/069/d/0/Revenant_Sketch_by_Coopersville.jpg I grew up on Doom 2 and Mortal Kombat! That's a well cool pic. ...

Barmy about barms eh...     I was thinking about this topic at work today (my job is boring in case you're wondering, I'm not a bread weirdo like you ;) ) and it occured to me that while we never say barm, we do use butty for when it's filled.
