Re: Computer Games Thread

That looks completely awesome. PS4 is where it's at.

On an unrelated note, I just started playing League of Legends the last couple of days. I suck so hard, but it's very addictive.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Timesplitters 2 is the best multiplayer game of all time if you ask me. It's still my go to game when I have people round. Although Unreal Tournament 3 is serving me quite well as some sort of next gen replacement at the moment.

Re: Computer Games Thread

I got Unreal Tournament 3 for a few quid the other day and I think it's fantastic. God knows why no-one plays this game, it's the best modern multiplayer FPS if you ask me.

Re: Computer Games Thread

Why does that MGS compilation have Peace Walker but not Portable Ops? Or is PO not as part of the actual story? Seems a bit odd. Portable Ops wasn't created by Hideo Kojima, whereas Peace Walker was, making PW a 'proper' Metal Gear Solid release like the numbered games. Peace Walker was actually go...

Re: What has made you happy today

It's been a pretty good day all round, but if I had to choose just one thing that made me happy today, it would probably have to be meeting Marty Friedman. He's surprisingly small.

Re: The Relationships Thread

I broke up with my girlfriend the other day. We'd been going out for 3 and a half years. Feels pretty shit.

On the plus side, all you lucky ladies are now in with a chance of being my new girlfriend. Form an orderly queue. No chunkies.

Re: Computer Games Thread

So I had a quick go at Metal Gear Ops and it is not endearing itself to me. It seems that if you aren't close enough to a guard's back to give them a lovebite on the sly, you shooting them at close range just alerts them to your prescence. Because that's how bullets work. I haven't played Portable ...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Just got Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. It's awesome. It actually requires you to be stealthy like the good old days. Plus co-op is very fun!
