Still a good game & has a decent play time with a few endings.

(Although you can complete it in about 30 minutes if you really want to).

Re: Computer Games Thread

I have a question, as I now have a job and can afford such things, I'm considering getting a console in addition to my gaming PC and PSP, not sure which to get out of 360 and PS3 though... There are some points I came up with for 1 vs the other, anyone suggest any more? There is also option 3... do...

Re: Computer Games Thread

As a gamer & PC owner I would say upgrade the PC you can get a bluray player for about £40. For £300-£400 you can build a pc that will out perform any console for the next 2-3 years. As an employee of Game, I would say go & put a deposit on the new Super Elite XBox Modern Warfare 2 Pack whil...

Re: Computer Games Thread

Been looking at some of the stuff being released on PC & consoles at work & after a few playtests nothing really stands out, they all look ok at best. So in a glut of reminiscing I am also playing Deus Ex & I've dug out System Shock 1 & 2 as well, next thing you know I'll be back on ...

Both good games, prefer Fable 2.

Trying to decide what to get next, or 'borrow' from work once we get some decent trade-ins.

Might have to blast through Wolfenstein just for the hell of it.

Re: movies

Is The Collector a movie of the book? I love it, I'll have to look into that. If you mean the John Fowles one, there was a movie based on that done in the 60's. But with that books overtones & real life links to serial killers etc, it doesn't surprise me that the name has been 'borrowed' precis...

Re: movies

G.I. Joe - Hahahahahahahaha, 4/10. I saw the trailer for this and instantly knew it was going to be some of the most formulaic, awful, american tripe ever seen. What I can't understand is why anyone PAID to see it. I didn't pay to see it thankfully, friends in strategic places including one who is ...

Re: movies

Quick scores for the last 10 films I have watched. (not going to bother with made for tv or straight to dvd stuff atm) Public Enemy - Good film, 7/10. Harry Potter - Dull & I thought these things couldn't get any worse, 4/10. G.I. Joe - Hahahahahahahaha, 4/10. The Collector - If you like Saw the...

Re: movies

Lol, quite true. But you know damn well you'll watch it as will I & if it's bollocks it'll give us something to whinge about. On the plus side, District 9 is very good. Shows what you can do with no budget and a good story. Also Grace, pretty twisted (as you'd expect given subject matter) but a ...

Re: movies

Well he wants the same success as his last film, so it only goes to say that he would follow the same formula.
