Had an interview for a fire safety management contract at a large concert venue - put a picture of Rammstien in the presentation with their flaming wings, don't think it went down well as one manager put his head in his hands and ranted about what a pain in the arse they are to deal with

Get as much codeine as you can. Anaesthetics are fine really. I rambled a bit when I came to from my hernia op but felt mostly alright. Just hella groggy. I felt the same the last time I had it but it cleared fairly fast and I was back home after a few hours, watched a film. The CoCodemol hit me ha...

Every year I drive past the Creamfields festival and I always see kids heading to the campsite dragging suitcases behind them in the mud. Does this happen at Boa?

Double bill of middle class problems - my Jordan's Country Crisp has hardly any raspberries in it and Joe drank my Pimms without asking :( A friend was in the supermarket when her 7 year old exclaimed 'but I only eat organic pesto'. Future Waitrose shopper, there  TG - horrible M5/M6 traffic, ...

A couple of other notable ones this week:
Gordon Murray, creator of Trumpton, Camberwick Green etc
Michael Cimino - director of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Deer Hunter and killed his career with Heavens Gate - a film so laboured that Christopher Walken taking off his hat took nearly 40 takes.

Re: POLL: The EU Referendum
I voted Remain and still stand by it being the right choice - I think a lot of people are going to be very disappointed even when the best possible decisions are made, the system shits on both the remain and leave voters equally. This is a revolutionary position, and revolution movements either cras...

Compare and Contrast: Point Break (1992) and Point Break (2015). Emerging to little fanfare before Christmas, the remake of Point Break sneaks out on Blu Ray. To summarise: everything that made the original fun has been removed - it was a high water mark of action films before they became over CGI'd...
