Yup, one of our favourite bands, but we both just thought it was a really good name.

I should prob say Miss Tesla Storm Hiseman, because the sex probably isn't clear from the name!

Re: movies

Right decision as far as I'm concerned. Ruffalo brings a lot more to the role than Norton did. He felt stiff, and just didn't feel right. There's a warmth to Ruffalo that just makes him seem so believable in the character, and the chemistry he has with the other heroes was excellent...I don't think ...

I missed Green Hornet too...but surely it's not this bad!?

Re: movies

Finally watched Green Lantern the other day. A good contender for worst movie ever made, very close with Battle:Los Angeles in recent memory. Also had the misfortune to sit through Drive Angry...not quite as bad as Green Lantern but close! Saw Cars for the first time yesterday, really enjoyable, bu...

Re: movies

Cold Light of Day - watchable, but very unoriginal Cabin in the Woods - very good, a very interesting take on the teen horror genre. I wasn't quite blown away though. Joss Whedon's "let's make EVERYONE a smart arse" dialogue style didn't annoy me as much as I thought it would. Agree with ...

Re: The Relationships Thread

I played guitar on a roof of a pub in Bromsgrove once.

But apart from that, there is very little, if no scene there! Black Cross was an ok rock bar, but last time I went there it wasn't too great :(

Re: movies

Payback is my favorite Mel Gibson film, so i was shocked to find out there is a sequel and it comes out in a few weeks. Looks pretty good, although I have to question why it was kept so secret. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGKfF6d8TH8 When was the last time you saw promotion for a Mel Gibson trai...

Re: TV: Current and Recent

Watching it as usual, but this lot have the charisma of dried cat shit. None of them are memorable or interesting really. :| Yeah, I feel the same at the moment, but doesn't it usually start off like that? Usually far too many in the first few weeks, then once Sugar's weeded out a few early casualt...

Re: movies

This weekend we have watched: Pirates in and adventure with Scientists: Was ok, some laughs, but nothing really memorable about it. 21 Jump Street: Surprisingly really good! Some real laugh out loud moments, mostly managed to avoid the usual pit falls of these kinds of comedies (all knob jokes and p...

I think it's alright, not really grabbed me yet, but it has potential...although now I know it is the only reason the 24 movie isn't being made yet, I find it difficult to want to it to succeed.
