Re: A driving thread

Got a new car recently. Was between a Golf GTI and the Astra GTC 2.0 TDI, I opted for the GTC purely down to the fact I do 15k miles a year and I looked to be far more economical. 2 months in and I'm getting around 35-38 MPG. Was expecting far more. Could've gone for the bloody GTI after all! How o...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

Just seen this... For those of you reciting the 'Tories defend the rich' argument, read this. It's worth it, I assure you. Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to £100... If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this... Th...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

Dim Tim is fitting.

Spouting bollocks all over the news, but Dim Tim is forgetting about his own constituency. They're not very happy with him.

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

Be interested to see how UKIP get on. I don't think they'll fade away. They came second in the Stoke by election, and that was with weeks of media onslaught directed at Nuttall, they can't donthat in an Election, there just isn't the time. So I reckon they'll surprise people, they'll pick up a few ...

Re: What has made you happy today

So happy! What a fucking night!

Amazing win for Warrington tonight. 30-12 down with 20 minutes left, and win it 31-30 with a last second drop goal. I've lost my voice, I'm convert in Beer and I can't sleep. But I don't care!

Re: What's upset you?

Mental health isn't just poor in the NHS, but worldwide really. People are only just starting to take it seriously. I don't know what your situation is fluffymoo, but I wish you happier times. As for me, I wouldn't say I was upset, just fed up. I need to stop caring about someone who don't give a fu...

Being taken for a right mug here. Nothing worse than a cunt that ignores you, right up until the moment they need something from you. Fuck off.

Re: What pissed you off today

I just don't understand anymore. I good mate of mine, or so I thought, has been distencing himself from me recently and when I try and ask if I've done something wrong or something he just gets really pissy with me. He claims there is no reason, that really pisses me off. I know I should tell him to...

Re: The UK political thread (formerly independence thread)

You can't compare the two in my opinion. One was people being killed in the confusion of the streets of terror. The other a people killed in cold blood, for no reason. Both tragedies, but you can't compare. But the fact that Corbyn wouldn't condem an organisation that killed kids in cold blood. How ...
