Re: TV: Current and Recent

Better Call Saul is well overrated.

A decent enough watch but boring in parts and lacking the drama of Breaking Bad.

Finished Archer a few weeks back :( Started watching It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia as a replacement. Any good?

Re: The Wrestling Thread

Was at Takeover: London and really enjoyed it. This weeks NXT with the new female number 1 contender just highlights how they need to ramp up some pushes to get the division to live up to the reputation it earned in 2015. Emma should be pushed up there and Peyton royce shows a lot of promise. Asuka ...

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Nothing wrong with using Spotify at all tbh. It's free and is ideal to check out bands before seeing them ro purchasing a CD. Certainly with me I find that there's some people I knwo can reccomend a band to me and I'm 99% likely to like them but then there are others who are 90% likely I won't enjoy...

Re: Past and Expected Win-You-Over Bands

2013: Hell - Not so much "win" me over cus I hadn't heard them before but for a new band to me they were brilliant. similar story with 2015: The Mighty Wraith Delain were brilliant also. 2016: Gojira - I'm hoping they will win me over this year. I don't mind them on record but for me it's...

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Satyricon, Anthrax and Judas Priest would be a blinding way to close out the festival.

We shall see.....

Charlton, scum, Blackburn.

We seem to be in a run of getting managers axed after playing us recently.

Nottingham Forest on Saturday week and Freedman isn't looking too clever......

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Arch Enemy, Anthrax and Amon Amarth weren't announced for UK Download only Paris so maybe they'll each play Bloodstock? Anthrax would be a surprising one but a slight potential headliner? Judas Priest headlining with Anthrax supporting and Arch Enemy just before them would be great for me though. A...

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Pleased that Nightwish are at Download this year because at Bloodstock they'd surely headline and whilst I wouldn't be against that I wouldn't want them to be the main closing headliner. Arch Enemy, Anthrax and Amon Amarth weren't announced for UK Download only Paris so maybe they'll each play Blood...

Re: TV: Current and Recent

Finally decided to get Netflix about a month ago. Well worth it. American Horror Story: Murder House was really good, nice little twists and turns throughout, bettered by Asylum which was more of a psycological thriller/drama with horror elements but I really enjoyed it. Coven was, well, thoroughly ...

Re: Bloodstock Attendance.

Depends what drinking games you play ha ha.

There was a group camped next to us this year, easily a dozen of them. I only ever saw 4 of them away from the campsite.

A couple openly admitted they'd come for a weekend with friends.

To each their own I guess.

Re: Personal opinions on VIP

Well for me it makes sense as my missus basically hates camping and has a dodgy hip so a few "luxuries" and area between the arena and campsite to chill etc resulting in a happy wife is worth it  Yet you'll still be camping, but paying £100 or so more to camp In a different campsite....

Re: Next Announcement Thread

No thanks. I'm not into man on man action. If I wanted to see that I would go to Garlands. But you'd like to keep Twisted Sister? :? Where's your sense of fun? Haven't seen them live yet myself but heard many really good things and it should be really enjoyable. Already in discussions to horr...
