Re: Next Announcement

Surprised there hasn't been much positivity towards Savage Master on here so far. They sound pretty suited to the majority's taste on this forum - melodic trad/power metal. Thankfully they're not overly cheesy so have got me interested - nice pick for an opening slot They're alright and will probab...

Re: Next Announcement

After giving the bands I didn't know a listen, it was an alright announcement but doesn't really add much excitement for me. Had slightly hoped that the last main stage slot on Saturday was going to be between PL and BT but should of gathered it wasn't. Given the bands on the Saturday and Sunday I w...

Re: 2020 Albums

New LP from Lost Society came out today. If you're into bands changing their sound, then I wouldn't bother since this album has more of a groove/metalcore vibe to it (rather than thrash). Meanwhile, Shrapnel have released a single that'll be on their new album that releases in May. Sounds decent. C...

Re: Epica + Apocalyptica UK shows

Are Epica the headliners? Would be grand if Apocalyptica went on last, don't fancy having to sit through them again

Re: Hammerfest 13

I would expect HRH to link up with various hotels in the area and offer a package including these. Having said that, it would probably be cheaper to "win" tickets and sort out your own accommodation. True on both counts, they're taking over the Ibis and Holiday Inn nearby. Saying that qui...

Re: HRH metal 4

The Three Tremors were just bad. Walked off after about 3 songs - its a shame, I love Ripper but they just sounded messy. I felt really bad for Rhapsody of Fire. They were amazing, but a combination of not going on until nearly 12 and the venue being dicks and not letting people in meant they lost ...

Re: HRH metal 4

Well that was a good weekend, got to see some decent bands and have some laughs. Did anyone else see the Three Tremors? So bad it was good  Though I did notice the biggest crowd for the weekend was Evil Scarecrow. For all the moaning about their positioning at BOA, they pulled a far bigger crow...

Overheard the crew lot say it's replacing it.

Personally think the line up has potential (especially for the price); good few bands in there already.
