Re: Next Announcement

My guess for replacement headliner is Trivium on the strength of their latest release. Or perhaps Ghost as they're guaranteed to shift to tickets!

Re: Next Announcement

Gutting news but inevitable of course :( Bloodstock has played a boss move though by adding an extra day alongside opening the Sophie, New Blood and Jager stages all day on the Thursday! With most of this year's bands already confirmed for next year, rolling my early bird ticket forward is a no brai...

Re: UK Death Fest

Shame but inevitable. Gonna hold on to my ticket until next year. The plus side of all these postponements is that I'll basically have no tickets to pay out for next year!

Re: Razor - Debut UK Show

That's three out of four gigs I was planning to go to this month postponed, this virus can do one already! Luckily I hadn't paid out for travel/hotel already for this so haven't lost any money. Thank god Grand Magus is still going ahead tonight in Norwich!

Re: Coronavirus

Shame about HRH AOR and Hammerfest. I was really looking forward to both and have a couple of weeks booked off work for them. Still, I see where the organizers are coming from with bands traveling in from different parts of the world and the risk to older people etc. Apparently they'll be getting in...

Re: Next Announcement

Surprised there hasn't been much positivity towards Savage Master on here so far. They sound pretty suited to the majority's taste on this forum - melodic trad/power metal. Thankfully they're not overly cheesy so have got me interested - nice pick for an opening slot. Black Tongue sound interesting,...

Re: Next Announcement

Not gonna lie, when I saw Acid Reign at the top of the announcement I had low expectations, but I'm actually impressed by the number of up and coming bands that they've booked, Svalbard, Conjurer, Green Lung and Idle Hands are all bands who have received loads of praise and who actually seem to be ...

Re: Next Announcement

Idle Hands released my favourite album of 2019, this is a fantastic addition to the line up. They're like trad metal but also inspired by the Cure. Anyone who sleeps on them is missing out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZ7zio1w0Vg Same here bud! I'm absolutely ecstatic to see them on the bill, w...

Re: UK Death Fest

Bought my early bird ticket after that announcement; Autopsy, Nuclear Assault, and Massacre are all bucket list bands for me. :D Got a feeling Knotfest will consist of a lot of bands I've already seen before and I prefer smaller gigs/venues anywho. Very hyped for this!

Re: UK Death Fest

Sacramentum Is the only real draw, but it’s a big draw! Never thought they would get back together! Is Nuclear assault the first headliner? It’s a risk putting it on when Knottfest is on too. I wonder if both of those fest been scheduled for august has had an impact on the weak Bloodstock lineup. I...
