re Festival Glasses, you can buy the bloodstock cup at the merch stand. A few times the stalls selling cider happily gave it a rinse for me.

Re: BOA 2018: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.

Oh and I almost forgot. What the hell was that The Lost band playing in VIP on Saturday? What a load of old shit. Have they ever actually heard the songs they were trying to play? They were called The Lost Boys. Brule were originally meant to be playing in that slot, but one of the members ended up...

If it was meant to be a comedy band, then it was about as funny as a nailgun in the face. Seriously, you can't get bette...

Re: 2019 Bands

It would put me off, but the headliners have been mediocre for years for me.

Re: BOA 2018: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.

The Good: Alestorm! Alien Weaponry, Onslaught, Priest! The bad: Me making out with some girl on Thursday who appeared to have a cough. Started to feel pretty bad on Saturday. Now I got strep throat for the first time in my life. The security around VIP was extremely lax this year. I found two mates ...

Re: 2019 Bands

I personally want to hear Vader announced. To be honest, my Monday morning ritual means ordering my next year ticket anyway... I know I'm going anyway, so maybe my opinion is moot. WIthin Temptation would be a good shout. If they book Parkway Drive, I will personally find out where the organisers li...

Re: Is there any lager this year?

Cider is my safe drink. That along with water and coffee. I know nothing about ales so descriptions like hoppy mean nothing. To paraphrase, my compadre one year got me to try an ale and asked, "What do you like?" Me: "I dunno, Fosters is cool I guess!" Him: "Don't swear at m...

Re: Food.... The good and not so memorable....

The Mr Teas stall is good. I get there at least once a year, it's a nice breakout place.

The hippy chippy place was good last year but by sunday not as much. Not sure why. But it fill a hole.

That CD stall right near the entrance to VIP does take some of my cash every year. Great selections.

Re: VIP Goody Bag pickup

I didn't make a big deal of it at the time, but queuing up was still necessary in the main arena in any case, so what difference did it make. The fact I did it two or three times only to be met with confusion did little to curb my annoyance. In the end I gave up and had more Jagermeister.

VIP Goody Bag pickup

I just wanted to mention this as I feel it's important. Can we go back to the goody bags being handed out at the VIP ticket office? Last year we had to get them from the main stall in the arena, however the guy there couldn't find my name on some list or something. Long story short, I ended up not g...
