Re: Vader

Just registering my desire for Vader to make the bill. Hoping after their Testament support slots they'll be announced.

Re: Metal 2 the Masses 2018

I'm intent on getting to some other M2TM events this year. My local one is Hitchin (and I'm competing in it too) but I'd like to go explore somewheres else. It's always a great evening at the Hitchin shows too :)

Re: Request - New entrance to the camping sites

From what I can make out, I think it's done to preserve the idea of the quiet camp. If the quiet camp is the first one you turn up at, chances are this is where most people will stop off and suddenly the quiet camp isn't so quiet any more. The notion of the quiet camp requiring an effort to actually...

Maat

I haven't stopped listening to these guys since I found them a couple of days ago.

Amazing band, in the vein of Behemoth, Nile, SepticFlesh. Great hooks and proper death metal

Re: Sophie stage post-band entertainment feedback

Just my $0.02 I really enjoyed the silent disco in Sophie last year. A nice slice of 80s/90s chese was awesome to dance around to with my new camping buddies. As for Sophie, I quite enjoyed the ladies doing the pyrotechnic show. Personally I'm all music'd out by the end of the night, so that was a w...

Re: VIP camping and tent sizes

I think there should be a series of security questions asked prior to allowing people to purchase a VIP ticket. Some examples: 1. Here is a cold burger that someone has taken a bite out of. Do you A - Throw it at the nearest tent with great abandon for the bin jousting is about to start B- Attempt t...

I fully expect Emperor.

They're currently touring the Anthem's anniversary record so that's who my money is on.

Re: BOA 2017: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The Good: - Met some awesome people at my campsite. Came alone, spent the weekend hanging with them, great bunch! - Sound seems much better on the main stage this year for some reason - New Blood tent was consistently good. - VIP area was definitely not as crammed as previous years. Decent amount of...

Re: BOA 2017 - rate the bands you saw

The Infernal Sea: 8/10 Excellent band as always Wind Rose: ?/10 I was initially impressed to see four Marshall stacks, two drumkits and three perfectly choreographed vocalists. Then I realized I had taken on way too much cider for the day and the person next to me was talking about frogs I think. I ...
