Re: Next Announcement

I see they are continuing the trend of booking shite bands from the '90s that nobody cared for even then. Hell, I even remember them when they had a bloke singing for them.....

Re: Ozzy & Judas Priest UK/IRE Tour 2019

Easy solution. Just don't go and see him then. No one is forcing anyone to go...

Or is it just Judas Priest fans being pricks. It's not like Judas Priest refused to play the UK for something like ten years is it?

The 21st century

It's shit though. There are far better means to access music.

Surely Children Of Bodhran would be more apt for a drumskin....

Re: 2019 Albums

Some shitty Nu Metal/Industrial band from the 2000s that was hyped as the next big thing.

They had quite a bit of airplay on Kerrang and Scuzz. Not that I watched those channels, just that they were always on in the pub's upstairs bar.

Re: 2019 Albums

He's right about one thing.... "P.S. Who the fuck listens to DOPE!!??" If it wasn't for Kerrang, Metal Hammer and MTV hyping them up as fashionable in the 1990s, him and his band wouldn't even be a footnote in music history. A band that jumped on every bandwagon going. Hardly original.

Re: Razor - Debut UK Show

Fantastic band. Saw them years ago at a European festival. Possibly Dynamo or an early Wacken.

Always felt sorry for them as they got ripped off by their record label. I think it was the same one that shafted Anvil.

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

To be honest I think they were struggling with bands without constantly repeating the line up. Same thing was happening with the NWOBHM one. The Country/Southern Rock one has now merged with the Blues due to a lack of suitable bands. Speaking of which. Last gig was Savage Outlaw's last gig. Decent b...

Re: Rate The Bands - Results!

Scorpions were a comfortable 7 or 8.

Worst headlining band was Ghost by a country mile. Complete and utter shite. Not even a 1. Followed closely by Rob Zombie, Mastodon and Within Temptation.

Anyone who thinks Slayer were bad needs a hearing test. Easily a 8 or 9 both times.

Re: Next Announcement

Most underwhelming announcement imaginable.

Hopefully that's the non Metal headliner out of the way. But I have a nasty feeling they'll book that awful Volbeat band as well...

Re: Manowar (!)

They had the opportunity to book them on numerous occasions, but failed. They would rather book drivel like Parkway Drive... I would take PD over Manowar any day for many reasons. That is why you fail... Anyone on this Forum who actually likes Heavy Metal anymore or is just populated by Downl...

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last: Warhorns. Next: HRH CROWS Country Rock thing From one extreme to the other. I was mainly going for Molly Hatchet, but they pulled out. Still enough to make it worthwhile. Not quite enough for me, as the two bands I really want to see (Jason and The Scorchers, Kentucky Headhunters) are a...
