Yes. But they are popular with the kiddies. And Vicky apparently likes them.......

Re: The Headliner Prediction Thread

Why does anyone think Kreator will headline why would a band that has played before and never headlined do so now? The same goes for Blind Guardian, At The Gates, Morbid Angel, Arch Enemy and anyone else thats played before My guess Alice in Chains Dream Theater Judas Priest Although Opeth instead ...

Re: Next announcement

I've always considered Alice Cooper to be Heavy Metal. Volbeat are about as Heavy Metal as A-ha.

The Nolans did a song with Motorhead. It doesn't mean they are suddenly Heavy Metal.

Re: The Headliner Prediction Thread

Trivium, Mastodon and Nightwish.

Probably. I won't be going if any of those are booked. Same goes for many of the other suggestions.

Re: Next announcement

Volbeat are probably one of the worst major (and out of place) bands that I've ever witnessed at a Metal festival. Just because you have some heritage of Heavy Metal doesn't mean you are Heavy Metal. Same goes for Anathema, who stopped being a Metal band yonks ago yet still play at Metal festivals.

Re: Bloodstock Arms

I think they need better bar staff next year, most of em where beyond useless! Trying to get served at times was hopeless and then the bar staff would try an give the pint to someone else :-? One of the fuckers tried short changing me a tenner then gave me a clueless look when i told her I gave her...

Re: Set Times Suggestions for 2015

how were Satan even allowed to play after 11? I thought BOA had a live music curfew thing that meant live music couldn't be played once the clock struck 11. I'm guessing it applies to outdoor music, so the main stage could never be later than 11. I'm guessing that it's more a case of not telling th...

Re: Next announcement

It all depends. Quite a few of the bands that I reckon are going to be booked are due to tour in the next few months. So I think they will get those dates out of the way first. So who is touring the UK in the near future that would A) be probable for BOA 2015 B) big enough to make a first announcem...

Re: Bloodstock Arms

I don't know why they didn't have the Carlsberg as usual. Or if they want the same brewer as Fosters - the vastly superior Heineken. I'm normally an ale drinker. But it was far too hot most of the weekend to be drinking flat, warm ale which had been poured out half an hour previously. I know about t...

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says his side have been practising breaking down defensive-minded teams in preparation for the Premier League season. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28834604 Is this the team that last year's formation looked like this? http://sharemytactics.com/6127/Chels...
