Re: What made you Lol Today?

I had them checked for my first job after school. After that no. I don't even know where my certificates are or even if I still have them anymore. After a certain age of about 21 they are more interested in your experience than qualifications. Obviously that excludes people just out of Uni, although...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

It is a normal, traditional social attitude That might be a 'traditional' attitude, but times have changed. People are no longer uncomfortable with the idea of being considered gay. Sorry, but that's demonstrably false. I can point to countless examples. Sure, fewer people are bothered by it today ...

I don't like either, do I win?

Jazz is just totally unlistenable for me, I could watch Evil Scarecrow for the lols though. But didn't as I was watching bands in the tents.

Re: A free-for-all thread

I haven't come across it in the flesh yet. But I would be a bit pissed of if it did mean a band cut short actual playing time to accommodate somebodies ego. It would be funny to watch if the girl turned him down though. I'll also add I hate all that romantic bollocks at the best of times. :hurl:

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Is Gandalf a new profile for Andy Hall..? Nah ! Andy was never deliberately annoying, just backed his corner ! He also always apologised if he felt that he had seriously offended anyone. If I have offended anyone then I do apologise. I just didn't think that a throwaway comment would upset so many ...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

Genuinely interested though, where's the bit about Robin Williams using drugs in recent years? Just Google Robin Williams Drugs and you'll find loads of information. He was in rehab two months ago. But I doubt you'll get the definitive answer until after the autopsy. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

What? Your whole thing was "I'm used to people not caring about offensive jokes" But the offensive part wasn't a joke apparently. I am used to people telling offensive jokes. I've certainly seen you post material that some people would find offensive. Most of us don't have a problem with ...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

If I went out to the pub tonight then I know I will get told loads of jokes about Robin Williams. I've already seen plenty of them over the internet without even trying to find them. People might tut or rolleyes, but no one will get offended. That's the sort of people I'm used to. Thing is though, ...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

There's a difference between people being sensitive and people showing respect for those who've had an impact on their lives. Now I'm not saying that. If I went out to the pub tonight then I know I will get told loads of jokes about Robin Williams. I've already seen plenty of them over the internet...

Re: Trivial Grumblings

That's why I didn't post anything in the RIP section. Maybe I'm not used to sensitive people.
