Re: The Official "Okay, Now I'm getting excited!" Thread

Nice to see I'm not the only one excited. Twisted Sister's final UK appearance is the big draw and I was at their early marquee shows so the circle will definitely close on that one for me, it should be emotional. Also excited about Behemoth doing the Satanist, Mastodon, Gojira, my first look at Rot...

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Just checked out Ghost Bath, and it's a big horns up from me. Shame they appear to be opening the main stage, but as has been said Agalloch managed to squeeze a good appearance into a short opening set. So maybe it will not affect them that much either As for the line up as a whole, they had me at T...

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Delighted with the Rotting Christ announcement, very excited to see them.
Heard from a few people that Paradise Lost are back on form and I will give Dragonforce a look, not a huge fan, but I'm intrigued to see what they are like.

A strong line-up in my view so far. Great stuff!

Re: Next Announcement Thread

Very happy with this announcement. I haven't seen Twisted Sister since the Stay Hungry tour at Hammersmith, but they are one serious rabble rousing rock and roll band. Great songs, plenty of energy and ranting from Dee. Seriously, what's not to like?

Re: Personal opinions on VIP

My first visit to Bloodstock this year and I too went for the VIP package. Thought it was well worth it. The bar is just excellent, great beers and a nice place to hang out and good to have the entertainment too. Toilets were fine all weekend in my experience. If I was to make a criticism, it is tha...

Re: So Venom.....

Good lord there are some curmudgeons on this board. The Satanist is an awesome album. Seeing it played as the sun comes down and the flames go up will be excellent. I'm sold already. As for Venom, not excited by this announcement but pretty sure they will be enjoyable to watch particularly if the fi...

Re: Tube strike

According to TFL it's 40 minutes on two buses the 82 or 2 to Marylebone Road and then after a short walk to Baker St the 18, 205 or 30 Bus. To walk it will be about an hour or so, although with a backpack that would be a pain. Overground is running so you could try Clapham Junction to Willesden Junc...

Re: Deli Kate

Very much looking forward to sampling the vegan food that Deli Kate has to offer. The universal praise on here has got me very excited about the food offerings at Bloodstock.
