Re: Next Announcement

There's been some absolute bollocks posted on here since the last announcement. I can't speak for any of the other areas, but I went to several of the Norwich heats, semi finals and final and Bastard were out and out the best band in the competition, regardless of whether the word 'Core' appears in t...

Re: Next Announcement

Bastard were exceptional in all 3 rounds of the Norwich M2TM competition. Looking forward to seeing them on New Blood and pray they don't clash with anyone I want to see.

Re: Metal 2 the Masses 2019

Here's a quick run-down of last night's 3rd and final semi of Metal To The Masses East Anglia, held at The Brickmakers in Norwich. First up were tech-death types Enenra. They were tight and proficient, but the vocalist, who was playing his first gig with the band, seemed to struggle a bit with the c...

Re: Next Announcement

So a poll has been put up on the community section of BOA's YouTube channel asking people who they want to headline next year. The options are Trivium, Devin Townsend, Behemoth, Judas Priest and Lamb of God so looks like we can expect one of those next year! Is this a way of weeding out the least d...

Re: Metal 2 the Masses 2019

Just back from Norwich MTM and what a cracking night it was. When the line-up for the first round of the competition was announced, I had a shortlist of 4 potential contenders in mind for the overall win. 3 of them were drawn in the same heat tonight. Here's a little summary of the evening's fun an...

Re: Metal 2 the Masses 2019

Brief summary of tonight's first heat of Norwich's MTM - Project Mork withdrew on the day which left us with 3 bands. First up were Rats Packing Grenades who walk in Kyuss/COC/Monster Magnet territory. Next were Blackwater Creek who are the most established band of the 3 and put me in the mind of Bl...
