Re: Metal 2 the Masses 2019

Just back from Norwich MTM and what a cracking night it was. When the line-up for the first round of the competition was announced, I had a shortlist of 4 potential contenders in mind for the overall win. 3 of them were drawn in the same heat tonight. Here's a little summary of the evening's fun an...

Re: Metal 2 the Masses 2019

Brief summary of tonight's first heat of Norwich's MTM - Project Mork withdrew on the day which left us with 3 bands. First up were Rats Packing Grenades who walk in Kyuss/COC/Monster Magnet territory. Next were Blackwater Creek who are the most established band of the 3 and put me in the mind of Bl...

Heat 1 of the Norwich competition tonight and I've got a couple of mates in Rats Packing Grenades who are first up. Report to follow later.

Re: Next Announcement

The TROO METAL internet crying brigade is out. Sorry to tell you but music evolves. They are the heaviest band out of the three headliners on a heavy metal festival and I can bet just like Ghost they will pull a huge crowd who will love them. Give them a chance, if not go get a beer, get some food ...

One band you don't like gets announced and you want the festival to go bankrupt? Moron.

That would be a cracking way of ending a day. I bloody hope this happens.

Powerwolf's UK tour ends on the 22nd.

That would be my preferred option, but surely we won't be lucky enough to get 3 melodic headliners?

Cheesy as anything, but good fun and I enjoyed their set at Wembley last week. Gets a thumbs up from me.

Cradle are definitely bigger over here!!!

I think 3rd down greatly flatters Cradle of Filth. They aren't even the best black metal band in Suffolk.

Re: Next Announcement

Death Angel were top class in 2013, Grand Magus are a cracking Sophie Headliner and there's not a band in this announcement on my 'definitely not watching' list. If I was let loose with the Bloodstock budget, my bookings wouldn't look a million miles away from what we've got thus far

Oh Bloodstock, you spoil us. Can we have an announcement of bands that everyone on here hates? I'm not sure I can handle all the positivity of this forum at the mo. We want to moan!
