Re: Next Announcement

The TROO METAL internet crying brigade is out. Sorry to tell you but music evolves. They are the heaviest band out of the three headliners on a heavy metal festival and I can bet just like Ghost they will pull a huge crowd who will love them. Give them a chance, if not go get a beer, get some food ...

One band you don't like gets announced and you want the festival to go bankrupt? Moron.

That would be a cracking way of ending a day. I bloody hope this happens.

Powerwolf's UK tour ends on the 22nd.

That would be my preferred option, but surely we won't be lucky enough to get 3 melodic headliners?

Cheesy as anything, but good fun and I enjoyed their set at Wembley last week. Gets a thumbs up from me.

Cradle are definitely bigger over here!!!

I think 3rd down greatly flatters Cradle of Filth. They aren't even the best black metal band in Suffolk.

Re: Next Announcement

Death Angel were top class in 2013, Grand Magus are a cracking Sophie Headliner and there's not a band in this announcement on my 'definitely not watching' list. If I was let loose with the Bloodstock budget, my bookings wouldn't look a million miles away from what we've got thus far

Oh Bloodstock, you spoil us. Can we have an announcement of bands that everyone on here hates? I'm not sure I can handle all the positivity of this forum at the mo. We want to moan!

Re: Next Announcement

Rotting Christ - One of my favourite bands of the weekend last time they played. Delighted to be seeing them in the tent. Eluveitie - Havent paid as much attention to them since the 3 that are now Cellar Darling went their separate ways, but Helvetios is one of my all time favourite albums and I can...

Re: SCORPIONS CONFIRMED AS BLOODSTOCK 2019 SUNDAY HEADLINER

I generally prefer their slower songs. Wind of Change is great, Yellow Raven is too and Still Loving You is their best song. Hope they play them all. Wouldn't disagree with any of that. First rock gig I ever went to was Marillion on their Misplaced Childhood tour. Love At First Sting was played bet...

Re: SCORPIONS CONFIRMED AS BLOODSTOCK 2019 SUNDAY HEADLINER

Great announcement - Scorpions will be a perfect Sunday night band - hope they go for a heavier set without too much of the ballading though ! I'd be disappointed if they didn't slip a couple of slower ones in; Always Somewhere, Still Loving You or When The Smoke is Going Down rather than Winds of ...
