I'm starting to think all 3 special guests will be announced at the festival. Saxon, Accept and now Mercyful Fate

Re: Clashfinder

I'll try to get the clashfinder updated on Monday. Hopefully it's not too inaccurate, but someone on the app who sounds like he's clued up said it was incorrect and 'quite badly out' in places so we'll see!

Re: First Timer Questions

Is there somewhere in the campsite that sells boiling water? Usually we'd bring a stove to boil water for pot noodles etc but can't be bothered with the faff this year so is there somewhere where we can get boiling water?

Re: No Code Orange?

Vicky replied to someone on twitter earlier saying the everything will be announced on Thursday. I'm not convinced we'll get a new band, probably just a reshuffle

Re: Clashfinder

I put one together last year, and have been keeping up to date with one after each announcement for this year, all based on positioning on the lineup page and using last year's timings. Here's the link

This season is going to kick some serious bottom.

I feel like this episode was a nice intro before all the serious stuff happens. Reckon it'll all start kicking off in the episode

Re: Bloodshot Dawn

So they did apologies- but half hour on the Sophie stage on Thursday.....they did a good hour set for free at the Unicorn before Xmas....you never know...although the BOA team don't like Death metal much... Yeah the death metal is really sparse this year. Was really hoping for Obscura, Jungle Rot o...

Re: Next Announcement

As much as I don't mind checking new bands out, I do feel the 2nd stage is weaker in terms of well known bands this year. Even last year, the top 4 or 5 each day were bands I was at least aware of. I've had to do a lot more research so far this year. The keep going on about the festival becoming bi...

Yeah, this is my exact view of the announcement. Never expect to know any bands in announcements at this stage, but it's always good to discover new ones!
