Re: Next Announcement

Download haven't announced any bands either and that's a couple of months earlier than Bloodstock. The trend of announcing next years bands early is a recent one for Bloodstock. A few years ago you had to wait a long time. Download sent me an online questionnaire 7th August to vote who the next hea...

Re: The Wrestling Thread

The second night was even better than the first night. Really really good match with Dunne vs. Devlin. The women's matches were really good but could have done with longer. The result for the final was a proper swerve that I didn't see coming. However the hugging at the end of the final between Rhea...

Re: The Wrestling Thread

NXT Brum Saturday https://i.imgur.com/CebZv9W.jpg Good night of wrestling last night and really looking forward to tonight for part 2. They made a big deal of no photography or smartphones during the matches, a bit annoying. Xavier Woods opened the show, big speech that the wrestlers are going to gi...

I really just don't like power metal. If they were a death metal band and somebody said they don't like death metal would you be as surprised that they wouldn't want to watch them?

If they are playing live I'd like them to come.

Re: Next Announcement

If they put them on the Saturday, I suppose you could always be they guy that takes the Alestorm duck to irritate the panzer-truppen ? While wearing a mankini? I think I'll pass  I'd spend the night in the SL bar, but really BS should be putting on a completely different style of band in one o...

Re: Next Announcement

I'm also not interested in watching Sabaton, I would hope they would be on the Sunday night so I can go home early again. Despite my dislike of them I can, as with Nightwish, see how they would be a good and timely choice for Bloodstock for '19, just hope BS get them on the right day ;)

Re: The Wrestling Thread

That sounds great, get to see some history in the making. I'm expecting Toni Storm to be the UK Women's champ (as would most people I would guess). Watched the final half of Summerslam, decent not amazing PPV in the end. Interesting how the Shield have been booked for Raw this week, have WWE given u...

Re: The Wrestling Thread

I enjoyed Takeover. I keep winding my kids up that Johnny is turning heel (looking more and more likely) and will be reforming DIY with Tommaso before being called up to the main roster. We are about half way through Summerslam. All three matches from the pre show (I think I've never bothered watchi...

Sabaton
Slayer
Dimmu Borgir
Napalm Death
Parkway Drive
Volbeat
Powerwolf
Evil Scarecrow
Dee Snider
Immortal

A line up I don't want to see the majority of the bands but think we'll get most of them.

Re: BOA 2018: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.

Did the weekend in VIP camping with my son. The Good Priest - they aren't my sort of band but they put on a great show and my son really enjoyed seeing them. Gojira - despite the rain, some technical issues with the drum kit, and a muddy sound in places (at least from where I was standing) really go...

Re: 2019 Bands

Slayer I could see holding out for a bigger pay day from Download if the UK tour does sell out, unless BS are prepared to pay big as with Priest. Always the chance that Slayer's UK tour doesn't do as well as they thought, I wasn't convinced with some of the venues when the tour was announced and I'm...

Re: The Wrestling Thread

Until the wrestlers acknowledge the idiots and stop wrestling rather than ignoring or even worse playing up to them you'll not make much progress on the idiots. The dueling chants for somebody like Cena or even Roman don't bother me. It is the single loud mouthed idiot saying stuff that is so cringe...

Re: The Wrestling Thread

I thought the Ziggler/Rollins match from Raw was better, the one from Extreme Rules had stalling and a quick roll up, but latter on multiple finishers and kick outs. Both wrestlers can put on a very good match, its just the structure of the entire iron man match was back to front. I think by the end...
