Re: Motorsport Enthusiasts Corner

I love Ricciardo, really hope to see him win a title in the near future. This years Formula 1 was really entertaining at the start of the season, but when Vettel imploded through both bad luck and bad decisions, Hamilton was never gonna let that slip without taking advantage and the final result was...

Re: Next announcement

Unleash The Archers would be amazing, they were absolutely brilliant when I saw them tour with Sirenia and Tyr (well Tyr anyway, buggered off before Sirenia started). I would imagine them getting a main day slot as such, although my friends and I did discuss the idea of Tyr getting the Battle Beast ...

Re: Next announcement

Doro - not actually that familiar with her material I must confess. Will have to check out. Fozzy - None of my business Bloodbath - Loved their first album and EP, but not fond of the rest. Was very disappointed with them live when I saw them though. Am yet to hear the last album though, so hopefull...

Re: Next announcement

That's not just Bloodstock though, both Download and Reading/Leeds suffer from that as well. I assume a deal means they can't announce it on the day until after the magazine is out (hence 8-9AM announcements sometimes), but obviously with the internet, everyone knows by the time the paperboy has the...

I'm fairly sure BOA started keeping their doors firmly closed the year after the set times debacle on Facebook.

Re: Original video game and film/movie soundtracks

May not be exciting to most, but I absolutely loved the soundtrack to Zatoichi (Kitano version)

Re: movies

Netflix is very hit and miss, and really depends on if you like whatever genre they are wanking over at the time. Last TV show I watched on it was Dirk Gently, can't even remember the last movie I watched on it.

Re: Next announcement

I would suggest unlikely, a little too on the non-BOA type of band. Even for the stuff they have been booking recently.

Re: Next announcement

I was front row for it and I was impressed they went on for as long as they did to be honest with you. There were a full few bottles of things that went over before Paul was actually hit.

I never got the whole throwing stuff at bands thing. If you don't like someone, just bugger off somewhere else.

Re: What pissed you off today

Been trying for a few months now myself, it's stupidly hard. I have a vape and can generally manage about 1-2 weeks on that and then I fail and start smoking again for a week.

How long you been stopped for so far?

Re: The rather morbid celebrity RIP Thread.

Never really liked the Mosley stuff when I first got into Faith No More, but had come to appreciate it a lot more in the last few years when giving the early albums a re-listen. Such a shame when someone goes out to addiction, especially if he had managed to be sober for quite a while as well which ...

Re: Sophie stage post-band entertainment feedback

Like it or not, most of the more extreme genres are very isolating and would not work in the Sophie tent at all. Keeping DJ's is a great idea, but get someone other than the 4 DJ's Of The Apocalypse. Someone that is going to just play some bog standard heavy metal that can be fun enough to dance to,...
