Last: Thermit (Pol) in Banbury. Free entry. Great band.
Next: Quite possibly Alison Moyet in Nottingham.

Re: Striker

When I went to see them and Screamer (Swe) in Nuneaton the other year there were only 2 people there myself included. I even took a pic of an empty venue and uploaded it on a server but it has since been deleted so I can't post it now.

I went to that gig they played in their home town - Ventura, CA. Saw them at Keep It True too. Sorry, not gonna happen. No fans.

Re: Deceased

Don't see it happening ever since their fan base is virtually non existent in this country. King's a legend. I've seen him thrice - once with Deceased at Keep It True and twice with October31 (another killer band of his) at Keep It True and Defenders of the Old (Brooklyn, NY) where I also met him. I...

Re: Raven

saw them in germany a few years ago where they got a decent crowd. seeing them in germany again next year. not my favourite new wave band but i'd watch them nonetheless. i'd rather we got someone like steve grimmett instead though.

Re: Atlantean Kodex

ive seen them in bradford, dublin and twice in germany. solid band but not as great as people think they are. their second album is a bit (a lot) on the boring side. i'd obviously still watch them if they played. twelve stars is one helluva song!

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

when i went to see them a few years back, there were just 2 punters at the gig myself included. Did the gig actually take place to 2 people, or did they just give you a refund? The sparsest gig I've ever been to was about 30 people, 2 people just sounds weird and surreal. oh it did take place alrig...

Re: Last Gig/Next Gig Thread

Last gig: Sonata Arctic / Thunderstone / Striker Striker were solid. Sort of thrashy trad metal from Canada. Frontman was a bit under the weather (his voice progressively deteriorated throughout the set). They ended up playing an instrumental version of one of their songs to give him an extra few m...
