Re: Bloodstock Forum Meet 2018

To help folks remember, this will be happening as soon as the arena opens, which is 5pm! I expect to be beyond reasonable sobriety so I'll be well up for Drunken Dodgems.

Re: Types of Bands like Mr. Big

The least time consuming method I can think of is to scan through the official announcements posts. There's usually some sort of spiel to give a hint of what to expect. From there you can decide whether to progress to youtube. There may be a few New Blood or Sophie bands that might appeal to you.

Re: Unofficial Community Festival Guide for Newbies

-If glass is forbidden, then can I take a 5l pressurised beer tank? We'll be 4 guys with one big tent and two inflatable mattresses, so we'll be able to carry more stuff than people going alone or by pairs. If not, then we'll just go for the plastic bottle option, not optimal, but still better than...

Re: Camping problem

Bloodstock's a friendly crowd, but I'd imagine tent sharing for the weekend is something only offered to close mates and those in relationships. I0th's suggestion is probably the most reliable solution. There's also the possibility of trying a local superstore (I think there's a big Tesco in nearby ...

Re: Drop off point

I wouldn't call it pointless. It still gets you closer to main entrance than the car park and makes marshals and security's jobs much easier monitoring how long cars have been parked and whether they possess parking passes. It still fulfills its role as a "pick up amd drop off" area. Site ...

Re: Unofficial Community Festival Guide for Newbies

Stupid question but is there somewhere to buy ice? People have mentioned coolboxes a few times, I don't know whether they're topping them up or just eating fresh food in the first couple days. Thinking about it, I'm not sure there is. Not on site anyway. There's a good chance you'll find some at on...

Re: Is there any lager this year?

There will be a handy pipeline from the corner of the main arena, right next to the New Blood stage, providing a steady, if warm, stream.
